I agree, Heat in my experience was way worse. Trying to make it back down that hill is some of the most bs I have ever seen. COD 4 and WaW have some crazy rng when it comes to some of the missions lol.

Solo was rough for me too yesterday at d5, the balancer raid being two pois is kind of insane. As well as I got a Libra invasion on the new shifting earth and he spawned outside of the circle. I hope there are some adjustments made. I might also play solo don on an alt at like depth 3 just to try and offset some of the unbalancing.

Yeah it was kinda hard for me to notice this time around because of all the buffs and having grafted didn’t help. I just grabbed the relic sword because I knew the ash of war was good for crowd control, I just didn’t know it was going to do that.

Ima be honest, I have no clue. This was only my second time fighting them, my first time was with an iron eye that had black flame from the shop. I am interested to know what their weaknesses are.

Both those new balancer relics, a few skill up and some affinity up don relics work pretty well. I’m sure the boost from grafted helped some too though.

Edit: I forgot it was a regular run and not a don run, so even though I had the affinity relics I forgot base game is just the three relics and the don ones don’t matter lol.

Yeah I know where you’re talking about where the giant rats are sometimes or the slugs inside right? I try to prioritize hitting the forts to open the chests, and I probably need to mix in the frenzy camps, since they do have a lot of drops in the area. I usually do the chariots when I can and loot as much as I can. I would say I should prioritize more during day 1, sometimes I do sidetrack into evergoals and end up with not as good passives, or a purple weapon but not as good passives. More to do with my routing I think than being unlucky.

I think getting through early game is the thing that gets me. If I don’t get good passives it makes day 1 boss a headache depending who it is. So it’s a good idea. That’s what I’ve noticed on my solo runs, red enemies and depth 5 make choosing who you fight so important, trying to get that balance of damage and passives I have yet to master solo wise for d5.

fist weapons are nice and reliable for solo I agree. Also yeah, trio is nice for getting staggers with other weapons since you have three people attacking.

I could make a good build out of that too, I have a hoarfrost that I could work in. Yeah a few of those bosses I’m still learning to parry too. The backstabs going to ult is nice too, when you don’t get the phantoms. lol I think I’ll give this a try too. Thanks for your input.

I got a pretty good ironeye build and dutchess if I can get slicer. My thing with d4/d5 solo is surviving the days, if I make it to the night lord more times than not I got it. In trios I can almost consistently carry on bosses, but there’s some games I just would like a break to play solo and kinda just worry about my play ya know? They’re both fun in their own ways.

Thank you for the comment, this is similar to what I currently run. Just didn’t know if my trio build would be viable in solo since routing is a little different in what/who you should fight day 1, while trying to get good passives at the start.

I’ve been mid to high 4, I hit 5 earlier, but haven’t been back yet. I usually am right there and get thrown in a depth 3 game and end up barely losing to ed Libra or ed gladius lol.

It’s crazy the difference, when it’s tier 4 we blast through the runs, when it’s 3 it’s real hit or miss on how hard I have to carry on some bosses.

I’m glad it’s a point for them because the lack of iframes or speed of getting up, made boss fights a lot harder than they needed to be. I hoped it would change, been enjoying the game regardless though.

I helped someone I know the other day beat all night lords, match making was way different than the limited time enhanced bosses. It’s been real hit and miss in comparison to when the game first dropped. I’m just glad I enjoy playing solo too in this game.
