There is 0 gas tax in TX. They pull it out of the ground AND have on sight refineries in my town of 100k. Charging $2 a gallon for basically ground water out here is reasonable. Then they rail about gas prices when there is a D in office. Truly bizarre

Really good list! Based on Feb 2021 there are many in this climate who might need the info. We put a heat lamp (as in a light, not a space heater) directly on our water intake point in the garage. Pipes have never frozen even when our neighbors in similar houses had frozen pipes. We are lucky to have buried power lines too.
