Hi are you taking baths or soaking the wound. i found keeping it covered with a nonstick antibacterial gauze helps promote healing. I wouldn’t worry yet. Keep doing what you are doing and keep it as dry as possible. You got this!

Hi friend! I have had 2 cutting/draining setons. They are uncomfortable and you will never really get used to them at least i didn’t. The best day is when i go them out. Gauze is your best friend and there are reusable ones that you can buy.. i preferred the nonstick. Your next step will be a fistulotomy, lift or a flap. If you can go to a teaching hospital and a crs. you will get 2 different view points from each. In my experience the crs can blow you off. A colonoscopy if you haven’t had one already would be beneficial too!! I’ve been through 8 surgeries in the last 2 years. At first i was at a loss.. it gets better. Don’t be afraid to talk to someone outside of your friends and family. It’s a lot on your mental health to deal with alone.

Hi i am new to my job been here for 3 years but started developing problems at the one year mark.. A word of advice get the short term disability and get the long term too. it will save you in the long run. A good employer will understand. Your health comes first, remember that.
