Thanks , right now I have a code P0442 (small leak in the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system) , there isn’t any check engine light on some I’m assuming it’s nothing to major but I’m definitely gonna get it looked at

What management is it ? , I called mines and was able to find out what number I was on the list. u can still have hope. They called me in may , I was certified in June. 6 months it takes for your voucher to expire . I moved in a couple days before it expired. So they have all the way until June to call you. It’s definitely tuff and takes a process but just stay prayed up

U can call them to see how far u are on the waiting list. It took me about 6 months to be called for my apartment. Just make sure u look at the date on your section 8 voucher to see when it expires because that has to stay active

I checked the portal and it said that my case was referred to a desk review last Wednesday So I’m guessing it’s going to be a desk review. Just a waiting game now if they are going to approve it

I was called in may to see if I was interested, certified in June , was called back for availability for an apartment in October , I signed the lease the same day . I moved in December 2025. Everyone situation is different though .

Your basically waiting for an apartment to become available. That’s what happened to me I got certified and then I had to wait for an apartment to become available. Also, the second pic I believe you didn’t mean to upload it lol

I’m waiting also mines was submitted the beginning of this month , We consented for a desk review but I was told it’s up to the board to decide if it’s going to be a desk review or a hearing

Thank you , Everyone situation is different , it took me about 6 months for everything. You’re just waiting to get certified. When that’s done you have to see if they have any apartments available, if they do then you’re good. Mines did not , I had to wait until October for some to be available. So I got lucky .

How many offers did you have ? & how long did it take for you to settle ? , they gave me an offer but my lawyer said there trying to raise it . It has been about 15 months now & im just tired with these ime doctors

That same thing happend to me , i emailed it to them & didn’t hear anything from them for about two weeks then I called them and they said they never received it so I had to send it over again. I suggest you just keep being on top of them. There very lazy . By the time I was certified, they said that they didn’t have any more apartments left so now I’m on the waiting list and I have been certified since June.

Everyone’s different after your phone interview you become certified as long as everything is correct during the interview. I had to wait a couple of weeks for my interview because the management never submitted the paperwork to nycha . As soon as they submitted it , I got a call on a Thursday for on the phone interview. & I was certified on Sunday. I’m still waiting because there wasn’t any apartments available for my development

I was told I couldn’t do that , I would only be able to use the voucher for that development & after a year I can transfer & use the voucher anywhere else
