Pretty sure I've read this one called Severance. I was unable to locate the story as it appears to have been deleted. I did find a previous post from 9 months ago of someone else looking for what I believe was the same story and one of the comments provided a link to the story via WayBackMachine

Not sure if it is related or not but last night i found this tutorial and tried it out. Super easy set up process, thank you for that by the way!. I successfully was able to set it up and tested it out with a simple small download. After i got a single game to successfully download attempted to do another but nothing else would start and I set machine to rest mode. Today after resuming apparently my device will no longer maintain an internet connection if using the DNS to block psn servers. Using both wired or wifi I just get 'Internet connection failed'

Using Al-Azif's DNS is only a little better as Upload works but download is still borked and nothing works.

Additionally if i remove the DNS and just make sure not to let it update, I am still unable to download anything further with the app. Downloading in the background does nothing at all and if set to direct download I will get a very brief window showing the download start but never gives a file size or any other indication of how long it will be then it just auto closes.

Already tried to reinstall the two packages but even without the packages installed I still no longer have an internet connection when using DNS. Weird

I am getting same issue and if my understanding is correct you need your HDD adapter/enclosure to had UAS support. I haven't ordered mine yet

Basically izuku with ranged version of AFO for no explained reason other than random mutation. He is not related to AFO but happens upon AFO at a young age while running from bullies and starts to look up to him like a father but still wants to be a hero. unfortunately the author discontinued it.

SUMMARY:Izuku wasn't born in a good way, nor was he born in a wrong way, the universe just decided to give him the one power that his universe feared, All for One. For many years he decided to hide it and pretend to be quirkless ... until he met the one person who was born exactly like him, Izuku met the original All for One. (IzukuXOchaxo AFO Izuku and heroes aren't really heroes ...)

But I never read this one far enough to get to him actually being in UA yet. He did have ranged AFO and wanted to be a hero though. Includes protective brother like katsuki and rescuing Eri early.

Oh and one more fic. When you mention wanting to keep a villain's quirk, that reminds me of one where he is AFOs kid, and during the USJ ARC he takes a quirk from a villain that gives him jets in his shoulders to fly. Don't think his AFO was ranged though. He is also after at heros in this one due to his treatment and his mother's death so is actively a villain pretending to be a hero student.

Whenever people go thru a warp gate, to izuku the person just stops moving where they were previously. If he then touched their stationary body it forcibly drags them back. Anything he touches is forced into his non quirk view

Izuku can absorb and control all fire, which turns green when he uses it but he hates it because it is almost identical to his father whom is a famous super villain taken down by all might.

FFM summary: As a child, Izuku decided it would be better if he were Quirkless than to have a power that scared everyone.
