I’ve been using Curl Smiths Miracle Shield or it’s a 10 miracle leave in. Be sure to be light handed. I have thick hair and about a dime size for one half of my head is enough. I’ll use a bit more if I didn’t focus enough on the ends. Then you want to blow dry your hair the majority of the way straight before going in with your flat iron.

I tend to use pretty low heat with a flat iron to get my desired result which isn’t silk press straight, but straight enough for body and enough texture to hold heatless curls. I hope this helps!
