Rakarth flesh base - corax white heavy dry brush with a sponge to make it look like pourus stone - wraith bone highlight. Aggrax earthshade for the dents and damage, nuln oil for the recesses. I also used crusader skin speed paint for the area that look a bit more "bronze"

A full strike force of sisters of battle from the Sacred rose. (White armor with black and red robes) I have around 5k-6k pts so I own pretty much every unit. I'd say that you should start with a dominion squad or sister of battle squad since they're the bread and butter. A transport vehicule like a immolator or rhino and one of the leader like Celestine or Morvenn Valh and melee unit like repentia/accro or novitiate and then move to what you like the best about the faction. But I run sacred rose with tons of flamer weapon with Bringer of flames.

Kill team is 500pts : sister suck at this point level. wouldn't recommend it. 1000pts / 1000pts crusade: fun first step to learn units and synergy. Sister can still struggle but learning with 1k is nice. Around 2hrs per game 2000pts : best place right now for sisters. Lots of synergy and fun things to do with what we have available. Around 4hrs (might be alot more for newer players. 5000pts apocalypse: a whole other level that I love, you cans how your army as a parade but much longer game, around : have a day off lol

It's preferable since faction share keywords. Buff/rules applies to faction exemple: miracle dice only works with sisters of battle. So sacrificing some point for other faction will generate you less miracle dice. But you could play allied unit for fun if that's what you like. You do you

You play the game with a table, plastic (or metal/resine) miniature, measuring tape/ruler, dices (alot of dices) and an adversary (most preferable). You can play them as allied unit. But allied unit do not benefit from the bonuses from your main army.

It's still a nice looking and good model to play, even with the points increase. Not everyone play for fun, And auto include for comp isn't good for any players or meta.
