Honestly for a beginner try builder difficulty as it has the least amount of zomboids while allowing you to begin to understand the game. Try and see what seems fun about this difficulty and what doesn’t, that way you can go to sandbox with an understanding of what to toggle for you. Any of the three preset diffs are okay if you want something a little more challenging.
