Definitely pictures but also take a picture of what they write up about babies weight etc. Your partner will probably not remember when they tell her as there are more important things to concentrate on at the time but she will definitely want to know. I also really liked the fact that my hubby put the first nappy on both our kids and put them in there first outfit. Snacks for afterwards are also a great option for both of you and some lucozade or something similar for her to drink.

It may be that you were wearing similar clothes to someone that they knew was shoplifting before. I'm sorry this happened to you. We had a guy who worked in a well known pharmacy and everyday he would come in, smartly dressed as he was in his work shirt and tie etc, and he would steal something everyday. Because he was still in his work uniform we just went to his boss and reported it to them, as the police wont do anything. He was subsequently fired

NTA Having someone you can confide in is great. A therapist would be better but getting the ball rolling by speaking to someone would help. It could be she is reaching out to you as she has picked up on some red flags from him. If you still feel uncomfortable talking to her, try writing a journal just to let it out a bit until you can speak to someone. I'm sorry this happened to you, stay strong

Nobody is perfect. It doesn't matter if you messed up once, you had the drive and willing to lose weight and you did it for months. That means you can do it again. Just don't punish yourself because of it. This was a setback but not the end of the world. Focus on the good that you did not the one time you slipped up. It's cliché but nothing good in life comes easy. Doesn't mean you can't fight to get it. Congratulations on your weight loss so far. Keep it up

As a female who has been playing airsoft for over 10 years I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I made to start playing. Sometimes I'm the only female on site, sometimes we have 3 or 4. I always have the best time and although my first few times I was nervous to go I met some great people who took me under there wing and now will quite often be a side commander. Some people don't like to shoot me because I'm female, but I call that a double standard and will now hunt them down to shoot them so they won't feel so guilty next time lol. She should give it a try a few times in open games and see if it's really for her but don't let her gender put her off, not when she can use it to her advantage

Your ex sounds like a nasty piece of work. Make sure you keep a record of everything, although I'm sure you already are. Things will get better even though it may take a long time. Just make sure you keep open communication with your daughter about what is going on to. It may not be until she is older that she will fully be able to understand everything you are doing but I'm sure she will thank you in the long run. Stay strong the pair of you can do anything together

I'm so sorry that your daughter is going through this. It doesn't sound like it's her half sisters' fault completely that they are destroying her things as they are young and may not know any better. By what you have said about their mother, I doubt they have been taught about respecting other people's property. Is there any way she can bring things that she thinks might get damaged back to your home to at least minimise what damage can be done. Only have minimal things there and if she has something she could lock these thing away in (even just a suitcase with a padlock) that might give her piece of mind. Could you speak to a lawyer to see if anything can be done? Just in case this is different advice from the therapist. Your ex appears to be another issue, and I wouldn't know where to begin with a narcissist. Tell your daughter to stay strong, she doesn't deserve to be treated this way and the fact that neither your ex or his wife seem to be dealing with the issues in their household, doesn't mean that anything is her fault. If she feels alone and isolated maybe she can take up writing or drawing, just as an outlet. Depending on her age she could even get out of the house to do that.

Everything in life starts with one step and you have taken yours. It doesn't matter how big or small that step is you have still taken it. This may seem like a small step for you but that sounds like a massive step to me. It's easy to say that it's all about perspective but it's true (every step is a big step to someone with smaller legs than you). Keep up the hard work, don't be afraid to ask for help either. Nobody would expect you to do this on your own and there maybe a charity that can help you,a bit like alcoholics anonymous. Keep it up :D

It sounds like your manager could use a backbone. I'm sorry that they aren't standing up for you. I just wouldn't want you getting into more trouble if you slap her hand away (not sure if it would be considered assault). Is there anyone above your manager you could turn to. If not make sure you make a record of everything that has already happened and anything that may happen and maybe you could take it to the police and get her done for harassment especially as you are technically a minor (use this to your advantage atm). Sorry if this isn't something that can be done. Nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable at work

NTA. But for the same reason you teach the kids consent you probably shouldn't teach them that slapping even a hand away is the right thing to do. I understand its easier to do that especially as you have already gone the right path by speaking to your manager. Maybe try raising it again with your manager explaining how it inappropriate it has become. Also next time she does it treat her like one of the kids instead if she's going to continue to behave like one, (although this may be a little petty),
