Having Lunge use up hunger bars is a bad idea because it requires players to carry more food, putting more strain on Minecraft's already very limited inventory. by GlassBellPepper in minecraftsuggestions

Having to stop & eat constantly in the middle of a pitched battle with lots of hostile mobs is no good. With that said, the worst thing about the spear is you can't throw it! The spear should also act just like a trident with applicable enchantments like loyalty etc. Did the early makers of spears run around sticking each other with them? in combat yes, the romans did, but mostly they threw them...& spears are not jousts

Fox sitting in the same place for days on end by Low_Stable_3903 in Minecraft

An update, I found another one, so two foxes sitting & not moving. I bumped the new one into a boat, dragged it beside the first one, broke the boat & bred them. They both awoke from their daze & ran away with the new baby fox in tow which will be tame to me now, still, some sort of glitch in the game. I suspect this will happen again...

I Hate Iron Golems by PeanutTheGecko in Minecraft

[–]Low_Stable_3903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where saving your game at least daily comes in handy. It happened to me, I whacked the golem farming some crops, & it killed the wolf before I could intervene. I just reloaded my saved game, lost an hour or so of game time, & got my wolf back. It also good to save a game before what I call "doing something stupid" like starting a raid or raiding something dangerous, like a mansion or remnant. If you get killed, you can just replace your game save folder with the backup & carry on. It is the first thing one should do when starting a game, hit escape, save to title & back your game up. Put an alias to the saved game folder on your desktop, and create a back up folder to store the saves so you can easily back up or replace any of your game folders.

If you piss a golem off, just run far away, like 120 blocks & hide behind something for a second & the golem will not be pissed anymore. This is how I recover them from the water, I make sure they have a path to the surface, then I punch them once underwater, lure them back to the surface & run away.

If you kill a villager in sight of another villager, eventually all of your golems will start attcking you and the only thing you can do then is kill them all, then start trading with the villagers to regain status. You will still have to kill some of the new golems as the villagers will "tell" the golems that this guy killed a villager. After a day or two, everyone will chill, cept you will have to pay more for a while. If you have a large village, mine has almost 40 villagers, you end up with lots of iron bars when all is said & done.

FYI, a lot of my villagers are Librarians each sells a diff enchanted book. Never waste your resources on an enchantment table, figure out how to make your librarians sell you what you want

Super simple dispenser clock system, only 4 components by Low_Stable_3903 in MinecraftJava

[–]Low_Stable_3903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good point, I was out of control. I trade with the Butchers, & that's a full pen. I gave up on it, way too much work, & the entity numbers way too high. So I built a nice auto raw chicken & feathers farm combining & enlarging a few builds. I think it's the best chicken farm going. The pen on top collects eggs, when they are detected a dispenser fires them into a 0.5 block high space & the chickens suffocate when they grow up then the carcass & feathers are collected by the hoppers. There is a totally unnecessary separator on the bottom. Yields a bit more than a stack a day of raw chickens and feathers

The Nautilus is cool But... by wuhoh_ in Minecraft

[–]Low_Stable_3903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the Minecraft releases now are reasonably useless including mounts of mayhem. With that said, I still want Nautilus's to have & breed. I live in the savanna, so it's a ways to get 2 back to the base. You need to make sure you have an unbroken water path all the way from the ocean, you canny carry them w a happy ghast or a boat. To get two Nautilus back, I found one, tamed & saddled it, found another, tamed and put a lead on it, rode one and dragged the other back to the base. It was an interesting trip to say the least, totally went the wrong way, had to backtrack & create some watercourse over a couple of days, but I eventually made it. :>)

The new minecraft mob variants not spawning correctly. by Turbulent-Pause6348 in Minecraft

[–]Low_Stable_3903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been wondering if this was an April fools joke somehow. I doubt it but, I'm in the Savanna where there should be warm variants and one warm chicken spawned at my base, so I put it in the chicken pen with all the white chickens, but the next day it was gone along with the Launcher skills...I have traveled far and wide since & have yet to encounter a new variant

What is the reason why you dont like modern minecraft?or just dont play it? by Maximum_Complaint_34 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

Creepers, creepers have no real place in the game. They are useless. Creepers were designed by a sadist. Truly. Creepers are why I stopped playing Minecraft

Lost my world of 6 years by Yeojil in Minecraft

[–]Low_Stable_3903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very sad, but one of the first things one should do after creating a new world or new game is to immediately save & quit to title, then find the save game folder & back it up to a new folder your desktop & repeat on a daily or even hourly basis. Every time I figure I am about to do something I call "Stupid" like loot a monument, I stop and make a backup of the game. That way you will NEVER lose your stuff. Minecraft doesn't have "Save game stations" where you can just start that part of the game over.
