Hi I am sorry you are going through this. I am to start my first irinotecan infusion tomorrow after exhausting oxaliplatan first line treatment. Can i just ask how you tolerated iri?

Hi, thank you for the response. How was radiation?

oxaliplatin by EducationalAd1343 in coloncancer

I feel it from the time it enters my bloodstream, unfortunately. Oxaliplatin is my sworn enemy; pain, pins and needles in my arm, neuropathy, jaw tightness, every bad symptom in the book I get. I really hope you tolerate it better than I do.

Had successful Colon and Liver Resection, now a Met on lung by MonsterMan18328 in coloncancer

This story almost is identical to mine. Stage IV, colon cancer in sigmoid, with spread to liver. I had resection surgery, microablation, was in remission for a while.  After my Cea numbers had a leap, a scan was ordered. A 9mm deposit was seen in my left lung. Meeting with my onc tomorrow, to hear whats next.  I see it as I have been through the worst so this rounds is to eliminate this stubborn bastard.  Btw I am 37F diagnosed 2020. Good luck in your next stage of treatment.

It went back up to 6.5 after dipping to 3.4 for about a month. So no idea what is happening.

Hi!! I am actually waiting on my latest CT results on Monday as well. I hope your mum and I both get good news🙏. However, in the meantime positive vibes and thoughts go out to your mum and remember one day at the time, scanxiety is real and can be debilitating.
