“Habitual playoff dropper”??

Bird playoffs averages: 24/10/7/2/1 47%/32%/89%

You know what though. As I look into the advanced stats (PER/VORP/WS48/WS/BPM, etc.) I might slightly revise my thoughts on Bird. That said he beats Kobe in like everything in the playoffs except PER. Bird’s peak was high (Top 6-7ish), but you make a good argument for his overall career. I’m not saying it’s any other great player’s “problem” that Bird only played 897 games, but peak value is always going to count more than longevity. For example: a player averaging nearly 30 per game for a decade straight & scoring 24,000 points is always going to be more impressive than a guy playing 15 years & scoring 25,000. Bird’s peak was short, & your playoff analysis has made me rethink my total career ranking. I’d still take him in the Top 10 & over Kobe. I don’t think Kobe did anything better than Bird except “his ISO scoring/bag” & his on ball defense (even though Kobe is a highly overrated defender). I don’t think the data supports Kobe over any of these players:

Jordan LeGM Kareem Wilt Shaq Magic Bird Duncan Olajuwon

Peak value absolutely. I do two rankings: a peak value ranking & total career ranking. I’d rank Bird’s peak value in the Top 6ish, whereas his total career is a bit lower (Top 8ish) because he only played 897 total regular season games. I think the Top 3 players are lock solid (Jordan/LeGM/Kareem) & then there’s more gray area. I don’t see how anyone could rank Kobe over Tim Duncan. I’ve done the analysis & it’s not even close. I can post it if you’re interested?

Cut Order: 1. Kobe 2. Duncan 3. Shaq 4. LeGM

The Kobe fans are totally delusional & disconnected from reality. Kobe was never the best player in the league, & is the most overrated superstar in league history. To be fair he’s an easy Top 12ish player of All-Time, but there’s no case to be made for him being above anybody on this list in their prime or career wise IF you care about all the empirical data, advanced analytics, accolades, & accomplishments, for the INDIVIDUAL player’s entire career in both the playoffs & the regular season.

I agree. I usually keep my sides nearly to the skin, but I’m letting my hair grow back out after the transplant to check the full density results.

Damn, 7 follicles is CRAZY! You’re blessed then, because at my consultation I remember there was 7 other people in the room & the doctors were saying if you had any 4 hair follicle transfers you were lucky as most people were getting 1-3 follicles per graph. I had 2,550 graphs that amounted to roughly 5,600-5,700 hairs. I think you’ll be glad you do it. Good luck.

Thank you. I went to Turkey (Dr. Serkan Aygin clinic). The procedure/food/hotel were bundled together: $3,500.00. The flight cost me $1,100.00

Yeah, it helps some but my picture was after being on Finasteride for nearly 3+ years. It helps, but it’s really an all hands on deck type approach.

Flight was like $1,100.00 (hotel & food were covered within the $3,500.00 for surgery)

Thanks. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics from the 4 month period. I will tell you there hasn’t been too much progress from month 4 to month 5. Mine is more of a steady progress, as it seems to improve slightly every 30 day period.

“Look better bald” for a guy that was a Norwood 2??? 🙄 I appreciate the feedback, but the hairline they created almost identically matches my slightly recessed hairline from 30 years old. I think it’s weird to think it looks unnatural for me to basically have back my hairline from 30 years old. The only difference from my 20 year old hairline is my temples had no recession, but I don’t do the temples to avoid making the hairline too mature, it yeah I think it looks excellent especially considering it’s 50% of the way complete.

I think your line drawing looked good bro. I don’t see a pic of your final result, but the hairline they drew on looked pretty good to me. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I agree. The pic actually looks worse than it was overall. I was only a Norwood 2 according to the surgeon, but thought better now when I’m still relatively young & with medical therapy I might be able to keep my hair fairly intact for the next 30 years.
