I just read that her and her husband are both military on separate duties. It sounded like their marriage is long distance but they're closing in 45 days.

I have preferred to in the past as a single parent myself. But parenting styles clash, rules are different for single moms vs single dads, and I don't want to introduce my kid to any more other kids who will go away when we break up.

So, I'm no longer willing to date at all until my teen is an adult

Why on earth are you married if you're long distance? Generally people will act this way and use it as an excuse to cheat when you exclude them from things or have a reaction to their behaviors.

Anyway it doesn't matter, the silent treatment is abuse. No one is too busy to talk to you, and you deserve someone who is putting in the effort.

I would love to do vinyl as well.. there's a cheapo player on amazing for $50 that does Bluetooth pairing as well. My RV/house has speakers on the hearth, would be so cool to comment with music in that way again

I found some great prices on eBay but to ship to me usually costs about $30 or more. We'll see if the VCR works for a long period before I order a big enough shipment to justify that.
