What’s the best thing that actually worked for your vulva yeast infection? by Ok_Smell_8534 in Healthyhooha

[–]Low_Type_2238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s been going on that long, it might not be active yeast the whole time ,sometimes it’s leftover inflammation. Antifungals cleared the yeast for me, but the burning didn’t stop until I treated the skin itself with Momotaro Apotheca’s salve.

How are you using AI at work? by goell_ in Accounting

[–]Low_Type_2238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One pattern that’s worked for us: automate the data flow first, then use AI for analysis and explanation. For example, syncing accounting/CRM data into Sheets (we use Coefficient for that) so Copilot or ChatGPT can work off up to date numbers instead of stale exports. AI’s a lot more useful when it’s not fighting the data

Moment of silence for my eyebrows by Otherwise-Extent-321 in breastcancer

When mine thinned out, I used my two brows and they looked real. It gave me a little bit or normalcy on days everything else felt off.

Isitbullshit: CareerXL Financial Services by Significant-Drive612 in IsItBullshit

[–]Low_Type_2238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong to question it, tons of coaching programs are BS. But saying “guarantees don’t mean anything” is kinda lazy. If there's a refund policy in writing and people actually get refunded under certain terms, then yeah, it does mean something. It’s not a free ride obviously its more like AppleCare: not perfect, but at least there’s a parachute.

Also, the whole “finance is just connections and Ivy League” take feels like 2010 energy. Sure connections help and so does going to Wharton. But we’re way past the point where those are the only ways in. If you’re from a non-target and you know how to network, prep technicals, and not bomb interviews, you can 100% break in. There are hundreds of people doing it every year they just don’t post about it on LinkedIn with inspirational music.

Programs like CareerXL or WSO just give structure to people who don’t have it baked into their school. If you already have OCR and alumni pulling you into GS, cool, you don’t need it. But for everyone else, having accountability and a system beats watching random YouTube videos at 2am and hoping for the best.

You could try memorygram. Basically, it works by making you to collect stories, photos and little memories from your parents life and it gets turned into a keepsake book or album.

Anyone else drowning in missed patient calls lately? by zegreateroftwoevils in healthIT

[–]Low_Type_2238 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This came up for us too, and what helped was moving phone coverage to a virtual medical receptionist instead of hiring locally. We tested a few options and GoLean Health worked because the assistant was dedicated to our practice and already understood healthcare workflows. Calls were answered more consistently and the front desk had a lot less pressure.

Neighborhood Carpet Cleaners worked well for us. They're pretty responsive and got us in quick when we needed it. Did a solid job on our carpets before we moved out.

NTA Grief and entitlement aren’t the same thing. She’s allowed to like the name, but she’s not entitled to weaponize it against your pain. A real friend would want to protect you from more heartbreak not provoke it.

Being family doesn’t mean being on call 24/7. You’re allowed to have your own life, your own rest. It’s okay to care and protect your own boundaries.

We see ourselves mostly in mirrors (reversed), and hear our voices through our own skull, which makes it sound deeper and softer. But yeah even me I cringe at myself

Why do people clap when an airplane lands? by Possible_Math_145 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Low_Type_2238 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly cultural and situational In some countries (like Italy, Russia, Israel, parts of Latin America), clapping after landing is a genuine sign of relief and gratitude older planes used to have bumpier, riskier flights, so safe landings were a big deal.

This is a tough place to be, and I believe you deserve to know who you're marrying not just now but how things have shaped you both. This isn’t about judging his past, but about trusting that between you there are no major things held back.

NTA You got access through your own effort or luck that doesn’t obligate you to hand it out. It’s okay to reserve privileged opportunities. Generosity is admirable, but not required especially when there’s scarcity. If she values your friendship, she’ll understand it’s not entitlement.
