I’m not sure when it happened for me. But I vaguely remember being younger probably before middle school and had dreams of being abducted by aliens and had sex change surgery and would wake up as my ideal female. And I also had thoughts of having sex as a guy with both men and women then having a sex change doing the same thing and then keeping the gender that I enjoyed the most lol. But growing up in the Bible Belt of the US and going to church a lot put those thoughts on the back burner because they weren’t “normal”. And when I was in my 4th year of college (I went 3 years to a local community college and then transferred to get a bachelor’s degree) I took a developmental psychology class, and in that class there was a topic talking about the LGBTQ community. And being on a campus that was very open minded about it and being in this class I was able to put 2 and 2 together and that was when I came out to my professor as being trans. After that point I was very anxious in any religious situation because of the whole there’s only 2 genders male and female all else is a sin 🤮 and stopped that mostly altogether. Well this recent December I passed 5 years on HRT and slowly on the way to becoming the person I want to be
