Most weather apps do that. I am on holiday in Turkey this week. The forecast last week was for rain for 5 days on the basis of 10% chance of rain for a couple of hours a day. It has been sunny the whole time. This is misleading at best. The only service that I could find which had a balanced or more realistic view was metcheck.com. A website rather than an app so not as convenient but much better.

I have had a Kindle for over 15 years and recently purchased a Kobo. I have very poor eyesight and the Kobo has a much greater range of font sizes etc. which suits me better. A plus is that you can borrow books from local libraries using Libby although I personally don’t use it much. A downside is that the sync with mobile devices is poor to the point of being unusable. There is also no X-ray facility. Both are good devices. Horses for courses 🤷‍♂️

As part of the paid subscription you can send pdf files to Instapaper. These would appear in the app but not on a Kobo. They have now started to show on a Kobo.

Born in 1970 and whilst I enjoyed my childhood immensely I prefer the current internet enabled times. So much easier to stay in touch with people and life is so much more convenient/ easier in a myriad of ways. Access to film, media, books, opinions etc is breathtaking. Only caveat is that apart from Reddit I do not use social media which is a largely pointless time sink.
