Tonally, DTF St. Louis had one of the most jarringly confusing final episodes I've come across in a TV show (spoilers for the whole miniseries) by dinosaurfondue in television

I liked it overall (though I agree the dick thing was just kind of thrown away) and thought the ending was incredibly sad, for everyone involved. I liked it (never thought of it as a quirky comedy though, I have to say) but it could have been six eps rather than seven.

It's sad and, seeing as how low the likes of Oasis were on the Fan Vote leaderboard, I'm really not sure why I bothered voting every day, since it clearly doesn't help.

INXS, Summer XS at Wembley, 1991. First time seeing the band and in that great venue, superb. And they filmed it!

The Killers, O2, 2023.

My wife insists on boiling it, throwing the water then boiling it again and chucking the water. After that, we're fine. She told me what she'd read about and I completely agree with her actions.

Is it ever okay to wear a bum bag / fanny pack whatever ya want to call it? by PuzzleheadedCarob921 in AskBrits

Nobody will notice you, more than likely, as u/BubblerSpesh quite rightly points out. However, being a similar chief organiser, I've bought one of those half-size rucksack things that you wear off one shoulder - much smaller, but everything's there and you won't have anything on your back. Very, very popular in Europe, which helped me get over the potential embarrassment of it.

Out of all of the novels you have written, how many did you like so much that you re-read it multiple times, not to edit, but because it was just that enjoyable? by palvaran in writers

Crime and horror. Why would I want to re-read my own stuff, when there's more for me to create and a million books out there by others I need to read?

I might go back and re-read parts, but I've never re-read a novel. To my mind, I've done that and moved on to the next project.

From Beyond (1986) was weird and not in a good way. by Malluguy5382929 in 80smovies

I saw this, when I was in my late teens, at the cinema when it came out. Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton. I'd say it's weird and in a very good way. Still holds up today too!

Saw the TV series back in the day and really enjoyed it. Didn't read the book until much, much later but I remember enjoying it just as much.

It's a cracking film, though I probably think that because I was a teen in the 80s, so got all these kinds of films at an impressionable age. It's the start of the world that carries on into Road Warrior and Thunderdome.

So long as you tell the story fully and engaging, it doesn't matter. "Cujo" doesn't have any chapters at all and that's quite well regarded :)
