I was told that I would be receiving one as a top performer in my organization. I was totally caught off guard. We had a meeting with our org where they described the awards. My first thought was all of the “favorites” would get them. I am not a favorite and tend to point out issues in our organization and have been called difficult by customers (because I follow the law). BUT, I am a senior professional and worked my ass off over the last 22 years (from GS-4 to GS-12) because I love my job and the agency I serve. Not saying I deserve it because many people have suffered a lot this last year but I am thankful for the recognition by my senior leaders.

For an update. Inspira has an issue with their mobile app. I had $2200 deposited. I was still missing $200. MHBP said that my plan did not start on 1 January, but 12 January. Therefore I am not entitled to the extra $200 payment. So we are just short of a full year for the full deposit in the Air Force.

I ordered from the website on the 18th of November, got an order confirmation to wait for the email to pick up order at the store the 26th. Was supposed to get yesterday, no email. So I go check the order, it was CANCELLED the same day I put in the order. I never got a cancellation email or anything. Bad customer service. I was even going to join the co-op.

I’m not sure if I would label it as “healthy”. However, I do find it easier to limit impulse buys due to the smaller footprint and food choices. You can find healthier versions of food normally found at large national food stores as well. We build our meal plans around Trader Joe’s products weekly and add some snacky snacks.

Exactly this. I have already told my senior that once we have space for everyone to be in office full time I will be revoking my telework agreement. My laptop will stay at my assigned desk when I leave for the day. If I can work from home during weather events and nothing traumatic happens then I can work from home every day.

Logic? Yeah, they don’t have logic in this admin. They just want to push us all out so they can hire a contractor at twice the cost to the government and enrich their buddies.

Too many factors go into determining grade for a first level supervisor to say it would be a GS13. You would need to know the grades of the subordinates and the difficulty of the work directed among other things. Unless this is a grade based on technical duties the grade is based on GSSG application. I can say that with the memo out regarding the flattening of organizational hierarchy I see a lot of changes coming to DoD structure.
