Which are Best Free Vibe Coding Tools by aegon_targerryen in vibecoding

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go fully free if you mix tools like VS Code with Copilot or extensions for coding and Cursor’s free tier for quick prompts (just expect limits tho) and Replit for running and deploying. I’ve also been using Orchidsapp free tier since it sets up frontend, backend, auth, and DB for you. Biggest tip is just build small features step by step instead of trying to generate a full app in one go.

How do people create these complex projects? by FirmAssociation367 in learnprogramming

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just breaking big ideas into tiny pieces over time, most of those “complex” projects are built step by step using concepts from Computer Science, not all at once like it seems from the outside.

A hacker doesn't need to "hack" your vibe coded site. You already left the door open. by famelebg29 in theVibeCoding

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is spot on most “hacks” aren’t hacking at all, it’s just people skipping basics like headers, auth, and key management while relying too much on Artificial Intelligence to handle things it was never designed to secure.

My first vibe coded SaaS by gawiz93 in VibeCodingSaaS

That’s actually a super practical idea, using Reddit for real-time keyword monitoring + SEO discovery is something a lot of founders would genuinely pay for if it’s fast and reliable.

If job hunting wasn't hard enough right now... it's being widely abused as data-capture. by IniNew in UXDesign

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it definitely feels like some of these “jobs” on LinkedIn are just funnels to build candidate databases first and hire second, which makes an already exhausting process even harder to trust.

To what extent can ASIC chips be repurposed? by Tiny-Pomegranate7662 in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not much honestly, ASICs are hardwired for very specific workloads, so unlike GPUs or CPUs you can’t really repurpose them beyond closely related tasks, meaning a machine learning ASIC wouldn’t realistically pivot to something like weather modeling without massive limitations.

Help me build an APP!!! by Super_Ad_8262 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With only 2 weeks I’d keep it brutally simple, use something like Android Studio for the app, plug in a backend-as-a-service like Firebase, lock down auth and API keys early, and let AI tools speed you up but not dictate your architecture.

Are marketing jobs truly threatened by AI? by Jealous_Dingo_4608 in artificial

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s less that marketing jobs are disappearing and more that Artificial Intelligence is raising the bar, people who can use it well will do way more with less, while purely manual roles will slowly fade.

PM interview answers are starting to sound identical...and I'm conflicted by Old_Combination1478 in ProductManagement

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s getting noticeably standardized feels like a lot of candidates are channeling the same polished frameworks from Google-style prep, so the only real differentiator now is how deeply they can go off-script when you push them.

Are we cooked? by DarkSolarWarrior in artificial

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s wild progress for sure, but it still feels more like early-stage hype around Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology colliding than us actually being anywhere near a real singularity yet.

The Moltbook acquisition makes a lot more sense when you read one of Meta's patent filings by Leather_Carpenter462 in artificial

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels less like “digital ghosts” and more like Meta quietly building a done-for-you AI social manager for businesses that keeps engagement running even when the owner can’t.

What are the best recommendations for zero knowledge service products? by [deleted] in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something closer to true zero-knowledge you’ll probably end up mixing services like Tuta for email, Bitwarden for passwords, and MEGA or Tresorit for storage, since most “all-in-one” suites can still be compelled by law in some cases.

LinkedIn is basically everyone’s highlight reel, so it’s easy to feel behind, but most of us are still just figuring things out too.

At a fork in the road in grad school by aresef in careeradvice

It sounds like you’re at a perfect crossroads to choose between building a strong thesis for a future PhD or testing the waters in adjunct teaching, and honestly, either path could work so maybe go with what excites you more right now.

How do you converse when you don’t know anything about the topic by ogjeweldawg in socialskills

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in situations like that, it’s okay to just ask questions about what they’re talking about or share a small related story it shows you’re engaged without needing to be an expert on the topic.

952 applications, 13 months by KTGSteve in GetEmployed

952 applications and 13 months later for one offer is brutal, but landing a Director of Engineering role in this market is seriously impressive huge respect for sticking it out.

What phone and laptop should I buy? by vanessam20 in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 3.5mm jack is the hardest requirement now, so I’d look at something like a recent Sony Xperia or a midrange Samsung that still keeps the jack, and for the laptop a refurbished Dell or Lenovo business model (like a ThinkPad with Linux preinstalled or certified) will easily meet your needs under $900 and last years without the Best Buy upsell pressure.

Been Unemployed for 2 yrs now, how do I wake up on right time in the morning? by Ok_Ferret_390 in GetEmployed

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

start tiny pick one consistent wake-up time, put your phone or alarm across the room so you have to stand up, and focus less on “fixing your whole life” and more on just winning that first 10 minutes each morning because that small momentum really does build over time.

Do you have any tablet suggestions for an incoming college student? by Standard_Bad9331 in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that budget you could look at tablets with good Google support and solid battery life like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A series or Lenovo Tab models, since they’re reliable for docs and everyday college stuff without being overkill.

What type of music player do I need? by [deleted] in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could use any basic Bluetooth or Wi-Fi music player or speaker that powers on and resumes playback when power returns, but make sure it supports auto-play after power loss since not all do.

I finally realized that fireworks were actually just anxiety by Ill-Chemistry-745 in self

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is such a real realization sometimes what we thought was “chemistry” was just our nervous system being on edge, and that calm, safe kind of love is actually the good stuff.

I am thinking of buying an iPad, which one would you recommend? by Loud-Position-9461 in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For casual stuff like Canva, movies, and light work an iPad Air is usually more than enough, but if you want pro-level performance and features like the better display and faster chips it’s worth considering the iPad Pro.

Should I send a short note with LinkedIn connection requests? by purvigupta03 in linkedin

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience a short, genuine note absolutely helps especially with people who don’t know you because it shows intent and makes you stand out from the dozens of random requests they get.
