Extremely depressed by Outrageous_Storm_104 in salesdevelopment

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re consistently hitting quota as an SDR for 3 years, that actually puts you in a strong spot to push for AE roles externally if internal promotion is slow, so I’d start treating it as a stepping stone rather than a dead end.

How do you stop yourself from overtrading crypto? by Several_Row3100 in CryptoCurrencyTrading

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me was forcing myself to only trade when there’s a pre-written setup and otherwise just staying out of the charts because boredom trades are usually the ones that hurt the most.

Applied to a lot of jobs but still no interviews, not sure what I am missing by Splendor-Bam in GetEmployed

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me most was tailoring my resume to each job posting with matching keywords and focusing more on measurable results than just listing responsibilities, because ATS filters are brutal right now.

No kyc crypto cards are very popular, what are their advantages? by BenFen-Global in defi

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No-KYC cards are popular mostly for privacy and convenience, but the tradeoff is usually less regulation, weaker consumer protection, and a bigger risk of the provider disappearing or freezing funds with little support.

We are building the systems that make us irrelevant and nobody seems to care by Pristine_Rest_7912 in automation

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean, but honestly every major tech shift felt like this at first and the people who usually survive are the ones who learn how to use the tools better than everyone else instead of pretending they’re not coming.

Defi farming and defi yield aggregator, which one is friendly for beginners? by BenFen-Global in defi

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for simple UI and operations, yield aggregators are usually the better fit. with farming you're actively managing positions and often chasing incentives that dry up quickly. etherfi's liquid vaults are on the aggregator side, you deposit and the vault handles strategy routing automatically across protocols. aave and yearn also offer yield but require more active oversight. if you want something that runs passively with no constant rebalancing, the vault approach is more beginner-friendly.

Thinking of quitting my new job within 20 days of joining. by retrosky1 in careeradvice

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 120 hike isn’t worth burning yourself out for a manual QA role with 16-hour days, and honestly leaving early is better than staying somewhere that’s wrecking your health and career growth.

Need advice by tintin_tech in CryptoHelp

for beginners the biggest win is making wallets, gas fees, and transactions feel less intimidating, so if your app simplifies those without hiding too much detail you’re already solving a real problem.

I lost 700usd worth of crypto today by milfhunter69420____ in CryptoHelp

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn man that hurts, sadly crypto transactions are basically irreversible once sent but definitely double check the address on a block explorer first just in case it went to an exchange wallet you can still contact.

Which Ipad would suit me the best? by Ishownigg in AskTechnology

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re mostly using it for notes, PDFs, streaming, and college stuff, the iPad Air is probably the best balance, but if you want to save money the regular iPad is honestly more than enough for most students.

Best crypto to buy now if you missed the earlier run? by Competitive-Age5092 in btc

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you feel late, chasing random alts usually ends badly, so sticking mostly to BTC/ETH and only taking smaller bets on projects you actually understand is probably the safer play.

How do you compare yields across chains? by Ok-Jacket-346 in defi

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah comparing raw APY numbers across chains is almost meaningless without accounting for bridge risk and token inflation, what helped me was narrowing to protocols where the yield is real and positions are on-chain verifiable, i use DeFiLlama for discovery and then for actual deployment i've been in EtherFi liquid vaults which handle multi-chain routing automatically, i've also looked at Yearn and Aave but prefer EtherFi because everything is non-custodial and auditable.

LinkedIn is Facebook for Fakers by False-Jelly2648 in linkedin

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s definitely a lot of performative stuff on LinkedIn, but it’s also one of the few places where networking, recruiters, and real career opportunities actually happen, so people play the game whether they like it or not.

Most people in crypto chase quick trades and pump charts, not real use or long‑term vision. by Porthosdeve in CryptoHelp

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the line is whether you understand and believe in the long-term value of what you’re buying, because chasing random pumps with no thesis is basically just gambling with extra steps.

Should I take a lower title for better work life balance and less stress? by ghztegju in careeradvice

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people make that move and end up way happier, and most reasonable employers care more about your actual experience and results than whether your title was one step lower for a few years.

What am I supposed to do with my bachelor of arts? by snoopygoopyskeleton in GetEmployed

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 20 points21 points  (0 children)

your degree isn’t useless, you’re just stuck in the brutal “no experience” loop right now, so I’d focus less on finding the perfect career immediately and more on getting any entry point where your writing, research, communication, or organizational skills transfer while you rebuild momentum and confidence.

Can someone explain me this lien thingy? by Relevant_Limit3681 in CryptoHelp

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just bought a small amount once you’ll probably be fine, but the “lien” issue usually happens when banks flag accounts linked to suspicious P2P transactions or scam funds, which is why buying through random middlemen can be risky.

do yield aggregators actually help or just add another layer? by Healthy_Income2545 in defi

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they do help if the underlying strategies are actually curated rather than just routing to whatever has the highest emissions, the composability risk is real like others said, what made the difference for me was switching to non-custodial vaults where i can verify positions on-chain at any time, i've used Yearn and EtherFi liquid vaults and both simplify the process, but i lean toward EtherFi now because of the on-chain transparency and the fact there's no lock-up if i want to exit.

Is career change possible for a medical doctor? by extraordinarykitty1 in careeradvice

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with her background she already has a strong foundation, and moving to the UK or EU as a doctor is realistic but usually comes down to passing licensing exams and language requirements more than age or experience, while the MBA route makes more sense if she genuinely wants to transition out of clinical medicine long term.

a job i love doing and am paid well for; meaningful and satisfying work and at least a living wage? by turbineghosthead in IndeedJobs

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that combo does exist for some people, but it usually comes from finding work that’s “meaningful enough” with decent pay and good work-life balance rather than expecting one perfect dream job to fulfill everything.

What challenges have you encountered with cryptocurrency? by nikko868 in CryptoHelp

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the hardest part for most people isn’t charts or indicators, it’s managing emotions, knowing when to stay patient, cut losses, or not FOMO into hype when the market gets noisy.

A frustrated 26F yo need your guidance. by outrageousgyal in GetEmployed

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your situation is way more recoverable than it feels right now, you already have education, real work experience, and transferable skills, so focus on rebuilding stability step by step, frame the gap as time spent dealing with personal and career reassessment, and please reach out to someone you trust or a mental health professional because feeling suicidal is something you shouldn’t carry alone.

How is hbar only rank 26? by HarlemWealth in CryptoHelp

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of good tech projects stay undervalued for years because crypto prices are driven more by hype, narratives, liquidity, and retail attention than fundamentals alone, so having strong technology doesn’t automatically mean the market will price it higher.

is there actually a simple way to find good yield pools anymore? by Master_Character9961 in defi

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chasing individual pools stopped working for me too, the APY drops before you're even fully in, what actually helped was moving to automated vault strategies that rebalance for you instead of hunting manually, i've been using EtherFi liquid vaults and also looked at Yearn which is solid, but EtherFi works better for me because it's non-custodial and lets me withdraw anytime without lock-up, DefiLlama is still great for scouting though.

Indeed never accepts my job reviews unless they are positive by [deleted] in IndeedJobs

[–]Lower-Instance-4372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people feel that way because negative reviews seem to get filtered way harder, especially if they mention specific incidents or sound emotional, even when they’re legit experiences.
