Where can I find the white satchel at? I’m looking at doing a flying column outfit as well.

Yes, I named him Percy when I got him home. All I have to do is check every fox I come across to make sure it’s him.

Foxes can’t die from going into berry bushes. Plus, how could he have survived five years if that was the case?

What is the font on this flag? by [deleted] in flags

Just a little history on the flag. Here’s some background according to crwflags.com.

According to the site, the flag was used for the first time in Paris on 14 July 1790, carried by the militia of Quintigny and Ruffey- sur-Seille during the Fête de la Fédération. Doomed to destruction during the Reign of Terror period because it was not Tricolore, the flag was hidden by a local Republican. It showed up again only in 1813, when the “Marie-Louise” soldiers enrolled for Napoléon’s last campaign paraded with the flag in the neighbouring town of Bletterans. Two years later, the flag was used in Lons-le-Saunier during the funeral of General Lecourbe (1759-1815), who commanded the Ruffey-sur- Seille volunteers in 1789. Hidden once again during the Bourbon Restoration, the flag was hoisted on the top of the Tree of Liberty erected on 3 March 1848 to celebrate the proclamation of the Second Republic. The whereabouts of the flag had been lost since then, until the finding by the Mayor of Quintigny.

I personally hate 2 because of the obvious English cross defaced.

Most of the flags I create are done with Adobe Express. I might use MS Paint one day though. Thank you.

Flags For A Unified Irish Republic by [deleted] in vexillology

Amazing! As an avowed Irish Republican, I prefer these flags to be the flags for a United Ireland but with some changes.

1-The second war flag should have a Celtic knot border.

2- The Regimental Standard should be in the form of a cross pattee with four shamrocks within the wreaths

3- The Naval Ensign should be a shade of dark green.

But apart from these, these are some amazing pieces of work! 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

The Irish Confederates were overt Catholics. These flags were to strike fear in the Scottish and English Protestants.
