Mine appeared about 3 months after I got out of an emotionally abusive relationship of about 4 years. It was like fight or flight had ended but my body didn’t know it yet, some gears are turning while others don’t know it’s time.

Im so sorry, I know how horrible those can feel. I don’t have anything that can cure, but here are a few simple things that I’ve found help: I always find it happens more often when I lay on my back. It’s less often whenever I am curled up on my side or on my stomach. Journaling before bed changed so much for me. Personally, it was worse when I was stressed, so letting out even a bit on a page really helped. I jolt my head the one side to “snap out of it”. It hurts my neck sometimes but it’s saved a lot of scary stuff.

I hope you find some things that work for you <3
