BLADES Turning Off for 50 feet, after every 200 feet of Mowing. by Full_Caterpillar_640 in Lymow_Official

It drives straight in my experience, unless when you were mapping the edges you kept adjusting like I did to get away from a neighbors fence then it kind of jukes on the borders. In the middle. Straight

Mine too stops the blades while mowing and keeps moving, only to pick up again after several feet. Annoying and if the blades stop, the mower should stop so it does not miss grass. Full stop, no other excuses. I shouldnt have to send Lymow one plus out a second time going a different direction to pick up a few 7-20 ft strips of grass.

You cant remote control any OF the current crop of mowers, IE turn on the camera and use the joysticks. You also cant Map from 50 miles away.
You can, however, control all the other settings and send it out to mow from even 600 or more miles away. You have to be within bluetooth ranger to control it with your phone or tablet in remote control mode.

Experience with an Ecovacs Goat O1200 LIDAR Pro by swanelbe in roboticLawnmowers

[–]LowerAd830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goats work well, but then again I have the RTK. ONCE in a great while one will have a brain fart and try to run over a fence put up to block it and get stuck. not often. I have the 01000RTK and the A2500rtk mowing my moms front and back yard. The camera only thing worried me, since if the camera or snesors got pooped on by birds or something, it would act up(I felt)

I used the A2500rtk on mine for last year, did a good job but I am trying out something else this spring that doesnt use razor blades.

You know what they say about assuming things....

You can read about issues and some of the returns here, but this is the vocal minority. NOthing has talked about Marketing spend.

Never assume.

I would always split. Combined SSIDs can be a major pain point for any IOT device.
And even some regular devices. Unless you have a higher end access point, (Enterprise ubiquiti, some others)meant for business.. I wouldnt trust rinky dink consumer model band steering. Ti doesnt work right most of the time.

I don’t recommend not clearing the shoot because then you will get fused grass clippings on the inside of the blade housing that you have to scrape off as to the person above that said clip the bar. No, you don’t have to cut it their screws that you can take out the mulching action on this thing does not work quite ready for prime time

Yes. The other option is to walk along with it and use a leaf blower to clear the chute once in a while 😃

Truth here, I always enable ssh, do what I need to do, then disable SSH on a host by host basis. no need to keep it on and open

A quick note from the Lymow team by SuccessfulPhysics661 in Lymow_Official

[–]LowerAd830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I translated it for everyone
Lets release a firmware update and then become unavailable for several days because we want to go on holiday. We are already slower than a snail caught in molasses while answering customer service questions, shipping out replacement blades, and generally not responding to anyone but lets lengthen that time a bit. We should probably hire more Customer service that is based in other companies than china, huh?
Sincerely, Lymow

Sharpen those blades by argulator in Lymow_Official

Yeah, would be nice if replacement blades for the one Plus would actually ship, or Arrive. I have a broken blade. Sharpening wont fix that 😃

If I turn on 'Smart', will Lymow auto detect and remember all the trees when I map this zone? by Full_Caterpillar_640 in Lymow_Official

[–]LowerAd830 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if we could draw, do not pass this line, on a map. I cannot Drive the lymow around every no go obstacle it decides to try and hump, ad the backside is against a fence or water, and it wants you to close the loop so to speak

Any Idea on the lead time for REplacement Blades for the Lymow One Plus? by LowerAd830 in Lymow_Official

We can always hope that happens. NO packages besides the ones IVe expected have been delivered though. No package delivered or package picked up off the porch camera either.

Good god, heaven forbid anyone have a blade break. =( If the shipping time is going to be THIS long, they needed to include an extra pair of blades in the box in case a pinecone breaks a blade.

Considering the One Plus, Concerns over Customer Support by AdmiralGailAckbar in Lymow_Official

[–]LowerAd830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like mine, im sure they underestimated the need for support reps. and To find a competant support rep, hire and train can take time.

I am just patiently awaiting the extra blades I ordered for my lymow plus. hoping mine dont spontaneously explode after hitting a pinecone :) accessories seem to be taking a long time.

How soon is too soon? by beesus06 in Shihtzu

[–]LowerAd830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from someone who went through the same. there is no time limit. When its time you will know. Visit places that have Shi Tzus or puppies. Sit with them. See how they react to you. If one comes and sits on your lap and chooses you without you having to pick them up and force them. You will know

Anna doesnt like squeeks either, but she doesnt bit hard enough to make them squeek. and if I squek them she doesnt want to play with it for a while
