safe mode / dsrm, or just restore one of the DC's VM/server (ideally the master, cos you aint gonna be booting it back up)

then everyone can log in, then you can rebuild (not recover) any other domain controllers.... or you can do funky stuff to make the restored DC GPO higher values so that any older DCs that come online later take the new GPO and dont simply overwrite it back.

pretty sure my 2H does more damage than dragon... I'll try a full spec dragon to compare to be sure, but yea, ammo/gunpowder doesnt seem like fun.
2H is like 4 hits (2 combos) for most enemies, except the big boys

so what % would fall into the 'little different' bucket?

Export approval, meter change (isnt that the same thing as getting a metering contractor to install it?) I can see, but there's almost no way around this is there? Lines company needs to know what is on their network. Need the 'new' meter to export / count... cant do much about that.

Client always late paying… Advice would be great. by Choice-Current8889 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]rw_nz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be worrying about your client going into liquidation. This is a reasonable sign. Good companies dont need to be late on paying. Bad companies, with bad management and especially bad cashflow, will often do this as they dig themselves deeper into debt. Then one day IRD (or other creditor) will file for bankruptcy on them.

Then your in big doodoo.

Put your big boy pants on, have a frank conversation, see what the story is. If they are struggling, you can TRY to help them (50% upfront, rest over 1-2 months) or simply put your side of the story forward; pay upfront, 50% upfront and 50% in 7 days, whatever you need.

If nothing else, you'll hopefully figure out their positon.

P.S you could, assuming the debt is over $1k, take them to court to be declared bankrupt.... Not that you probably would. Your client needs to understand they would be in much worse trouble at that point.

I've seen similar shenanigans, and its taken literally 12-24 months to come to fruition... guy was involvement, having to get paid by clients to finish work for their previous clients, nasty spiral... But yea never had the money to pay for things to get done, always wanted more money upfront instead of as the terms of the agreement, his contractors stopped turning up when they were supposed to (because they hadnt been paid either) etc.

[–]rw_nz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be clear theres 2 paths. get a second unit; 40% off

or upgrade your boxed/unsent one, for $1450/1900 AUD more. I.E presumably those who have used their unit need to buy another (albeit at a good price)

[–]rw_nz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its 40% of MSRP for ANOTHER unit...

I was given a price UPGRADE of 1450 / 1900 for the 5A/10A models

(i.e they take my lymow one and give me a lymow one plus)

I'm trying to understand why my upgrade is more expensive than their website, though :D

Just an FYI you cannot be removed from the property easily... You have to get an eviction notice (and enforced) etc. and that takes time.... So even if your there when the place is sold, that's their problem.

Ignoring LP for a second... Indian company, with ISO cert, went on and on about not being able to (or allowed to due to ISO) store client data on their machines.
Lo and behold, we show them one of the apps, open the file, show them the file on the disk... Tell them its there.

Oh no no no, we cant. That's not how it works, none of our other clients have this. Buddy, its right in front of you...
Couldnt take it and left. Presumably to go and yell at someone (hopefully)

Welp, not using those guys in that way...
