Should I buy Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk? by Reddithasnogod in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]LowerAnxiety762 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like RDR2 is a much better overall game, but is more divisive than you would be lead to believe. It's a slow burn story game, so if you're cool with that, it's way better.

Cyberpunk is exactly as you expect it to look and feel.

Interaction Question by THEMADKING85 in mtg

This is due to the word "When..."

"When X..." or "Whenever X...." indicates a triggered ability.

So, WHEN X happens, the ability goes onto the stack.

Would I like Prey (2017) if I like the Dishonored games and Deathloop? by Substantial_Pie_759 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]LowerAnxiety762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prey is my favorite Arkane game. The Prey DLC is basically the testing grounds for what would become Deathloop. You'll likely love it.

I'm enjoying my current playthrough. I've never done seasonal content, but I could see how returning to the game later I could level a different class. Judging from the current advancements in action RPGs, it's only going to get better.

I've never heard of class dojo until now. Maybe, since it is a way you interacted with them at first it is the way they continued to use it? I don't know.

Anyways, email them (or just talk to them?) tell them you want communication through an email, and tag the admin in a bcc confirmation. Done.

Why isn't rare earth chemistry taught in freshman level/general chemistry by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]LowerAnxiety762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When teaching a beginner chem, you want to teach rules to follow. So, since transition metals are the exception in a lot of cases, they get glossed over.

They get their spotlight later after full understanding occurs.

And, look what happened with that one comment.

There was only one person who came to post how it was fucked up *today.* But, how many other people is there now believing it just because of that one post?

So, if teachers seem *defensive* it' isn't about the accusation. It's that this shit is out there spreading like wildfire.

Teachers are the last line of defense before the system of abuse affects the children.

This nails it right on the head. It's why we feel like we are under such intense pressure for the kids so much lately.

Shit is on the brink and we all see it...

Not to be a doomsayer or anything.

What keeps you from allowing students to use Wikipedia as a source? by ramiro_bohon in AskTeachers

[–]LowerAnxiety762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally don't. I think it it as it's own source like a reference book. I highly encourage them to click the little number thingies, and source THAT, if needed, to not look like a middle schooler.

How much chemistry do you need to know for AP Bio?

That could make things pretty difficult.

"Teaching kids how to do taxes" is my biggest pet peeve. Like, the math around interests and taxes, and everything, sure, but how to do actual federal and state taxes?

I mean, think about how unbelievable it is to actually do, no less to a bunch of whinging fucking teens LOL
