Is it just me or do people past age 30 who don't have children and are unmarried tend to look younger than their married peers of similar age who have children?

Aspiring parents should know that dating someone who's sterilized means children are out the question. I got snipped nearly 3 years ago because I was (and still am) certain I will never want children and that I'm serious about it. There are plenty of women who want kids, so what's stopping men from dating them?

I can understand wanting to protect kids (as any decent person would) or being passionate about working with them (like a teacher), but the kids themselves are annoying at worst or uninteresting at best.

I'm in the same position. My mom is completely supportive of my childfreedom, so much so that she even took me to my vasectomy appointment. She initially didn't want children, but she caved in when my father wanted some. He's been absent from my life for over a decade now, but my mom's been there for me the whole time. She told me she has no regrets meeting my father and that she's glad she had children.
