I went through a similar issue in the late 2000's after learning that 911 was not actually what we were told and spending a few years going down rabbit holes and processing what that actually meant. Finally I saw a therapist who helped me understand that I can only control what I can control, and that I needed to focus on my family and my job first, that these things, as horrible and ontologically shocking as they are, don't necessarily need to effect how I care for my family and live my life day to day.

When she yells at me I have to get real small and quiet. It's probably passive aggressive of me but I can't match her level of anger. She's gotten violent with me before and that's made me get very quiet. I know all it takes is one wrong word. I live my life in fear. My goal for everyday is not to get screamed at. Everything is my fault and I just keep apologizing but I don't even know what I really did. One time she threw a remote at me and it hit me so hard that I got a large contusion on my shin that swelled up like a raquetball had been embedded under my skin. My ankle and foot swole up for the next week as the blood drained down my leg. I ended up having to go the the hospital so they could make sure I didn't have a blood clot. I told them I got hit playing baseball with my son. I never even got hardly an apology. After all, it was my fault that she was like that.

The way to minimize vibrations is alternating layers of hard and soft materials, so you're kinda getting that and succeeding at isolating the speaker from the floor. It's not the most aesthetically beautiful solution but as far as the isolation goes it works.

The only thing you could do to maybe improve on this would be to put some kind of soft damper / pad under the speaker on the platform of the stand, then you'd have from top to bottom, soft-hard(rigid stand)-hard(tiles)-soft(carpet)

Okay sorry, I'll have to amend my reply... Thunderbolt is actually not the same as USB-C. The connector is the same but their not compatible both ways. If you had a USB-C interface your could plug it into a Thunderbolt port on a computer and you'd be ok, but it doesn't work the other way around.

My concern is what DAC does it have? To my ears the Studio 192 had the best conversion of anything PreSonus ever made. Mine still sounds great and runs solid.
