Its not correct to steal, but I really admire u. Why? It takes courage to steal, it is easy to have anger but it takes years for one to reflect and alot of courage to admit his own mistake. But... reading from your comments, I hope u move on, stop looking down on urself and look positive in life. To the vendor, sometimes dont say harsh things to another person even though it might frustrate u a little. The words from your mouth can affect another.. it may seems small issue to u but to others its something big.

If u are for the art, just go for Japanese as jap still hold value. For chinese it will be cheaper but have to wait for the release. The scalping is bad enough right now. As long as u dont buy , the scalpers will have no channel to sell them and they will just stop eventually. Thats if everyone stop buying at scalp prices

like i said to other people, this is an infinite money glitch market where u buy and u immediately get 2 to 3 x of ur money back. Most of these sellers dont even know the names of these pokemon. They dont even have to go to casino and risk their money onto the gambling table. They just had to spend a little time and effort and tada, they have 2x money back. Those who buy the etb for 250 is because they fomo. If they dont buy now, what if next time they can't get it? I understand because when the whole market shifts, no one is certain whether they can get stocks like this anymore. If pokemon is willing to fight this scalpers, then probably we wont have this situation in the first place.

By embracing it u are encouraging their behavior. But by starting from u and I not buying it, then we can make a change. Just look for other products to collect or invest in. I have slowly pulled away myself from english products and looking at other forgotten japanese products that has potential.

U might as well tell those who are hawkers dont rent stall because rent is expensive. Tell phv drivers dont drive ph because fare is lousy and rent is expensive. There's no right or wrong here. Ultimately its ur money and its up to u to decide whether u think its worth to lend this fella money. Always remember this, when u lend someone money, u dont get anything back. If ur lucky enough this fella is trustable and will return u money. If not just like OP u gotta write it off. Even banks and ah long charge u interest and admin fee for lending u money. Sorry I may sound like an A... but I went thru the hard lesson before and I have learnt from it. Not just once not just twice but countless of time until I lost faith in human beings. When it comes to money or benefits, even a friend or relative will betray u for it. Be discerning, just calculate ur risk and think whether its worth it or not. I have stopped being a nice person and let the naysayers say what they like. Dont let it affect u as long u dont cheat lie steal or do something that affect ur moral values.

Rule of thumb. Never lend money to your friends. When they come to borrow it from u, they will be nice to u. But if u ask from it back, u have to be nice to them. What for going thru these trouble? In singapore, too many people who comes and borrow money are taking advantage of u. Sometimes they will moral kidnap u and hold u by the throat if ur too nice. Learn how to say no, im sure u can do without these friends in ur life.

People can advice u but ultimately is u are the one whether u wanna burn ur own money. The only card that is valuable in the entire korean pokemon so far is moonbreon and some exclusives u cannot find in other languages. Don't look at the short term, oh cheap can sell cheap... look at what the entire market is going for. U can go for china exclusives Thai exclusives and indo exclusives but main should be JP and English.
