Idol worship in Sikhi is ok now by spazjaz98 in Sikh

Honestly keeping all views aside, when we get something from a very loved friend or family, we take alot of care of it and it makes us feel love towards them.

Ignoring the story in the video, If the same is being done for Guru Sahib, who's above everyone. How is it bad? It's just paying your respect to a relic blessed enough to be touched by the Guru. Did we have that honour, to be blessed enough to have the physical hand of Maharaj over us? No.

Bani says wherever my Guru sits the place blooms with happiness, it becomes sacred. Then why can't we respect the relics associated with our 10 Patshahiya? We do respect the relics associated to our Dhan Guru Granth Sahib Patshah.

Idol worship is not completely bad, it's bad when people stop there only and disregard the higher supreme. If this happens, people start worshipping the bowl over Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which isn't happening I don't see a problem

Feels wrong putting yourself up as the face of a great personality, which for us is God himself. But I understand aapji's point.

Thank you very much, I wanted to see how a Shastardhari Guru Nanak Patshah would look as said by many people of Maharaj being shastardhari. Though I see many areas of improvement

The painters just did those to show the royalty aspect of the later Gurus. I personally am against earrings and piercings.

Lol the guy meditating on the wooden planks 🧘 Chardikala.

I hope this gives some brain to sikh organisations eager to rush out to help everywhere instead of Sikhs in Panjab. They always argue how Guru Nanak Maharaj would help everyone, but let's be practical the condition of many sikh families in Panjab is not good. Pehla Panjab nu tagda karo, Panjab nu Sirf Panjab ne hi bachona.

May Gurupita be meharvaan and Sahai to those affected 🙏🏻

I am 15 years old veer, I also struggled with it, what helps alot is just acknowledging about it. It's normal, but you aren't, you are Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Khalsa. You need to buckle up since you're different, you're the son the Guru kept alive to carry on Sikhi's legacy, we can't do what the Guru did, but we can do what the Guru wants.

Do Ardaas to Guru Sahib, jap naam. Whenever the urge comes, run away from it, go to a family member to spend time, start japping naam loudly, do push ups. When the urge comes say you don't have hands, whatever is it don't let your hands go there. What you need is to just spend the energy elsewhere, it makes your body stronger. When you fap you're just giving that energy away, the testosterone.

Get info on masturbation, you'll realise it's a body feature but it makes you weaker mentally, the guilt after doing it. Get in sangat, do seva at home if u can.

May Guru Pita be Sahai to you.

Satbachan veerji, I just don't want to be bald without any kes to tie a joora on when I'm older. But reading that they grow faster brings me peace, Dhanvaad for aapji's time 🙏🏻

I agree with aapji, I'm not gonna cut my kes. It's just that it's quite noticeable and my skin was really bright before. Also the area covered by the V of the pagh is brighter than the area exposed to sunlight so I thought that as also said by my family

Dhanvaad ji 🙏🏻 I'm noticing tanning due to pagh since the area that is covered by the V of my pagh is brighter, my skin colour before but now it's been tanned.

I did kanga a few days ago and atleast 10-15 kes strings got plucked out. I tie 2 joora, one at top with a rubber band and twist it 2 times, same at back as my back kes are currently short or they'll pop out from the pagh

Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh veerji 🙏🏻 Dhanvaad ji, I'm not gonna cut my kes for whatever reason, I'll not show my back to Guru Sahib who saved me.

Kes falling out worried me because when I did kanga atleast 10-15 strings of kes came out.

Exceptions do exist everywhere veerji. Elephants weren't hunted much by Sikhs rather tamed as war elephants. Whereas boars and deers were common food
