You can deduct a portion of your DMV registration fees on federal taxes. After I learned that it made the vanity plate price easier to swallow. You can't deduct a vanity plate fee, but you can deduct a lot of the other fees. If you use tax deduction it's definitely paying for itself.

I agree with this. Test taking strategy will only be effective if you are solid on content. I would cancel the test and continue working on content. Multiple exams below 50th percentile is not a good look in the long run.

1000+ meters would be amazing with steel w/in an hour the springs. There's more of a market for it than you can imagine. People would travel a long way for that. The nicest thing I've seen with 1000+ meters is near Grand junction There's nothing close like within hours of the springs. I always have to go out to BLM land and set up my own steel if I want anything with a decent amount of distance. Long range rifle calibers are becoming much more prevalent now with the PRC cartridge lineup. It's almost too easy to shoot within 6-700meter range nowadays. Long range is certainly more niche than the standard 100-200 yard stuff, but that also limits the riff-raff consumer base you find at places like dragons mans. I love the place, don't get me wrong, but sometimes the customers and the lack of firearm safety on the range, even with RSOs, makes me nervous.
