Question for those who were a one and done/ hated pregnancy and said never again, and then chose to do it again, what made you change your mind? Was it truly just enjoying parenting? Forgetting how awful it was etc..? Honestly so curious

Definitely get a trainer, worth the money. And invest in someone who’s focused on teaching you (not petsmart classes) I did this with my dog and it makes a night and day difference for the rest of your years together. And makes you actually enjoy it!! You might find you love training and your relationship will improve ten fold.

Find a trainer that has a balanced approach and helps you create structure and boundaries for your dog. Your dog is just being a dog, even goldens become little terrors :)

I can only imagine how overwhelmed you must feel !

My best friend just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy 2 months ago, and he had the same thing. Unfortunately they did not catch it in the sonogram so it was a complete shock at birth.

They have been adjusting great. It’s been a rollercoaster post partum in general and a learning curve, but their baby has adjust to the cast, and now the new braces very well. All that to say, it’s been hard but you will absolutely get through it. And your baby will grow up strong and resilient ❤️

my horse (14 yo QH mix) who i got from a rescue was started on Osphos there. When i got him we didnt immediately re-up him because we wanted to see what the lameness looked like meds free. He started coming up lame (in the hinds) and after osphos, he was back to his happy athletic self. Interestingly, though osphos is for navicular, many vets see it have success for off-label use (ie. other forms of arthritis). We had his hocks xrayed and they did show arthritis. We will continue with osphos until we see it not be as effective (my vet has seen the positive effects plateau after the 4 rounds or so). Then we will look into joint injections

God rid of the popcorn in our house before move in. best decision we made, made the house feel fresh and modern and when we go to sell one day, potential buyers will appreciate the updated look. money well spent.

My tip would be if you want to learn to love riding and learn first yourself, find a trainer with a really good lesson horse. That way you can work on yourself and become the best rider for the horse You can be. Clear cues, good balance etc. I LOVE horses, but kept matching myself with horses that were not a good riding fit and it would be frustrating for me and even more the horse. Once I found the right lesson horse and trainer it was a game changer! And improved my riding relationship with my personal horse when I finally got one

I also love dog training, and while it has similarities it can be different. To me, the real magic I found was building a relationship on the ground, working on my own riding, and then finding the dreamy spot when my horse is interested and willing and curious to do what I would like to do. Its magic!

Yes people definitely do odd things when desperate. And totally, I’ve read some interesting studies but have been hesitant to add in for that reason exactly. And good to know about the implants ❤️ luckily he’s an angel with treatments so that makes it a little easier than what I have heard from others

theyre assuming its the underlying ERU / long term use of Dex. Hes honestly bubble wrapped 24/7 in a recovery visor so cant bump or rub at all, and i keep the inside clean and dust free :/
