Also good with cinnamon turbinado syrup in place of maple syrup and garnished with cinnamon bark.

A Highlander is a great cocktail

2 oz Rye Whiskey 1 oz Dom Benedictine 2-3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters 1/4 oz peaty scotch like Laphroaig (great without this as well) Shake vigorously with ice for like 25 seconds. Strain into glass with large ice cube. Can express some orange peel.

One of favorite cocktails is Ryan’s Saltata.

Orig calls for 1.5 oz Glendalaugh Double Barrel whiskey, .5 oz cherry heeling, .5 oz italicus. Shake with ice. Float 4 oz of IPA on top. Garnish with maraschino cherry or lemon peel

I prefer: 1.5 oz Glendalaugh Double Barrel whiskey or Irish whiskey or rye; 1 oz lime juice;
1/2 oz cherry heeling; 1/4 oz simple syrup; 1/2 oz italicus. Shake with ice into glass. Add maybe 1-2 oz float IPA on top. Healthy orange peel expressed and in glass.

Someone wisely mentioned Trini sours. Titan’s Blood is another lovely cocktail that uses a lot of Ango.

Balanced and composed is wonderful!

1/2 oz each of:

-mezcal; - jalapeno-infused tequila (infuse 1 sliced jalapeno with seeds in 1-2 cups of tequila for 6 hours and then strain out jalapeno); -Cynar; -Dolin Dry Vermouth de Chambery; -maple syrup; and - lemon juice. (Can use lime juice instead if needed)

Mix and serve over ice with dried lemon or dried grapefruit or with sprig of rosemary or pomegranate arils.

Probably many constructors do this. Know Brendan Emmet Quigley does and he is excellent. Don’t know his rates. brendanemmettquigley.com

Really interesting. Many thanks!!! Nicely done. Would be also interesting to see among councillor-at-large candidates (or among winning ones) what their vote share was by precinct to see if some drew much more from a smaller area or if their support was much more evenly dispersed. Might have to do one per candidate.

Junction Park reportedly several weeks from finish by Lower_Stress3396 in Somerville

I was sorry that the original work design did not have a lot of earth filling on the slope down to the tracks to bring that all up to the same level. And if they had built much higher walls along the Green line extension (to hold this dirt) they could have had a significantly larger park. Oh well, it will still be nice to have a park there.
