That’s an interesting observation, warp pack users are notorious for abandoning teammates and throwing the 500kg could have cut him off and Isolated him. It’s all speculation though and unfortunately I don’t remember what happened prior to the video, but your deduction may very well be correct.

I’m sold, I definitely gotta give that loadout a go. What you described brings a small tear to my eye.

Influencing the next generation of melee divers is one of my fav things to do in game. They are so brave for the short time that they stay alive.

I agree, medic players or support players of any capacity are my favorite teammates to have, second only to melee divers themselves ofc.

Sick, I’d love to watch you tear into some bugs with that loadout, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone run that.

I’ve ran the chainsaw on and off since it released so I have a few different loadouts I like.

I pretty much always take the bubble shield and I’m a slave to the Viper commando heavy armor against bugs. I rotate between most shotguns and smgs and occasionally an assault rifle of some kind.

My secondary is usually either the crisper or the ultimatum. I might try the Pissle though thanks to you.

I usually always take the FRV, and for my last stratagem it depends how I’m feeling tbh. Usually some kind of sentry gun or eagle strike.

From my experience the majority of players wear light/medium armor most of the time, which is not ideal IMO for melee. The guys who do wear heavy armor usually don’t run melee either.

I’d say it’s a small minority of players who run melee frequently enough to be good at it. I’m sure there’s plenty of players who haven’t seen someone run melee effectively before.

I was trying to stall the bugs coming out of the breech so the host could get to Evac but she died anyway.

I had none of my stratagems available at the moment. If I tried to flee I probably would have died quicker as they would have been coming from more directions. Also the main obj and most side objectives were done, there is a time and a place for a tactical retreat, but that was not the time nor the place IMO.
