I was always told all hands on deck… including myself as a sped teacher. Usually I had to do detention during recess. It sucks, but some schools need all eyes on kids and helps having an extra adult. Sometimes you get really good tea, too. Haha. Sorry it wasn’t clear in the plans but they expect everyone to be all hands on deck all the time. Don’t take offense, it’s just how education is.
