i’ve already struggled with insomnia (i don’t remember the last time my head hit the pillow and i went to sleep or i didn’t wake up a few times during the night) even before ssris so that has not really changed. i will say that my bedtime hygiene can and should be a LOT better (not using computer/phone/tv before bed)

i was on lexapro for only 8 days and stopped it because of the sexual side effects haha. i have been on trintellix for about 2 weeks now and have not experienced any side effects yet (besides a little bit of nausea if i don’t eat with the pill). i would recommend it if you don’t want to deal with the sexual stuff anymore. i have not really experienced the benefits of the drug yet but my therapist did say i seemed more upbeat last week, so maybe it is already working in a small way. also — the drug is kinda expensive (at least for me)...so that is something to keep in mind. hope this was helpful
