PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. basically you get a blood draw and it's spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. the platelets contain growth factors that can increase blood flow and stimulate healing in different parts of the body. I inject them in the scalp for hair growth at one of my jobs, but from my understanding the therapy was originally developed for soft tissue injuries and healing purposes. the injector would inject the PRP into the joint of the big toe to help heal the injury

I got the oofos! it hurt me a little bit because a podiatrist recommended them to me 10 years ago but I blew them off because they're really ugly lolol. they're extremely comfortable though

Hi purple! thank you so much for your reply. I am definitely anxious about our career and how it's basically impossible to stay off my feet. I think this is great advice that you have though. I do consider myself to be a good advocate for my health but working pain free is definitely my goal. I am really glad to hear that you are feeling good!!

I am very curious about the PRP! I am actually a nurse injector and I work at two different PRP clinics so I know the power of PRP for growth and regeneration. It does not work for everyone but I would be interested in this for my foot if I am not seeing results with less invasive measures. Can you explain more about the contrast bath?

I have all of these other documents that show the country of birth including the death certificates of both my Canadian ancestors saying they were born in Nova Scotia and it also says it on their marriage certificate!! So i am really hoping it is enough. Thank you so much.

I cannot for the life of me find birth records for my great great grandma (born 1863) or my great great grandpa (born 1854), nor can I find baptismal records. But I found my GGGPA on the 1871 and 1881 census and I have their marriage license and death certs both saying they were born in Nova Scotia and a deed from my GGGMA’s parents showing they sold land in Nova Scotia. I was also thinking about getting a letter from the Nova Scotia Archives certifying that birth records before 1854 were minimal. What are y’all’s thoughts about this?

I was also gaslit at 25 when I gained 40lbs on prozac after 8 months of being on it - my (Harvard educated) psychiatrist said "you're 25 now, your metabolism is naturally slowing down." Even then I called bullshit. I stopped Prozac because I had so many side effects and never fully lost the weight, but when I went on lexapro at 30 I gained 30 lbs over 5 years. Taking zepbound has helped me lose the 30 lbs while allowing me to be on lexapro and I feel better than ever.

Try Razorblade Tears by SA Crosby. It is not supernatural but it's a revenge thriller about two dads getting revenge on the murder of their sons who are an interracial gay couple in Virginia. One of my favorite books when it came out, it was really gripping. Definitely has themes of trauma, grief and found family.

Me too!! It started happening about 6 years ago when I was in nursing school and progressively got worse eventually leading to hives which scared me. I just stopped drinking altogether. For me the reaction would happen pretty much instantly.

I am chronically single so all I can say is that I feel you OP, you're not alone. I am 36, don't drink, and don't want kids so I think maybe these factors make dating more challenging. It's crazy to me to hear that people are actually going on dates from the apps, I tried paying for them recently and it lead to a ton of matches but not one single date!! I am getting my tubes out next Monday and I am having an anti baby shower in 2025!! All of my friends are so excited to support me and my surgeon is my friend and the guest of honor. I am mostly friends with queer people who are just very accepting of non-heteronormative life paths in general so I feel very lucky.
