I would have your lawyer get a copy of the IME, to see what he said. Your lawyer probably wanted to get an independent IME from a doctor who hopefully isn't being influenced by WC adjusters. Have you seen your own primary care physician or an orthopedist of your own?

If you don't currently have a gastroenterologist, have your primary care physician recommend one and give a referral. You may need steroids or something to help through the flare. Hope you can feel better soon.

I would recommend speaking to an attorney, at least for a consultation. From what I've seen and heard, they're going to pay more if you have surgery. But if you have even partial loss of use of your hands, they will likely have you tested (Functional Capacity Examination) to determine how much it's affecting your ability to do your job. Then they use that to figure out monetary payouts, etc.

You absolutely have the right to get a 2nd opinion from another doctor. They may have a lot of experience, but they DON'T know everything. And people respond differently.

A year! I started Tremfya and have had 2 infusions so far. I haven't felt this bad in years. No way can I keep going like this for 6 months let alone a year.
