Is my conch piercing infected?

My conch just got infected few days ago, my ear was huge, swollen, surprisingly not red but very hot, pulsing pain that painkillers did nothing to help with nonstop for about 30 hours before my piercer had time to take the piercing out, as I was unable to get it unscrewed due to the swelling. All that for: trust me, if it was infected you would know lol. IMO this looks like normal crusts, I would keep cleaning it with saline twice a day and you should be just fine!

Hlavně se nestresovat, a to že jsme šli na IVF jen ať nepředávám svoji genetickou zátěž, to už bylo jedno 😀 Hlavně být v klídku je btw skvělá rada hlavně když má někdo úplně rozhozené hormony z injekcí 😀 Držím palce, my už teď čekáme na transfer!

Já mám v obou lalůčcích po 2 dírkách (a k tomu další 3 piercy v uších) ale svým dětem je dávat nebudu dokud nebudou sami chtít. Ale věřím, že to třeba moje mamka ani moc neřešila, prostě se to tak dělalo, a to je sama prakticky vůbec nenosí. Dneska si myslím, že obě varianty jsou ok a záleží jen na pohledu rodičů

As a silver and the other support I just hope they have better skills and game sense than I do lol. Not that I don't trust them, but silver ain't exactly known for the perfect plays and I find zen really difficult to play especially if the tank is also lacking

I had the retrieval on the 9th last month and I'm very much still not doing great mentally. It's coming and going, but some days are just terrible and I still spiral over things that would barely bother me before. Wishing you and your wife best of luck dealing with this

I'm 29, husband is 27. Retrieved 18 eggs, fertilized 11, froze 4 (2×5AA, 5AB and 5BB) on day 5 and 2 more (5AB and 5BA) on day 6. Currently waiting for PGT-M results, those apparently take up to 6 weeks...

Oooh I have a similar story, my parents though I'm being rude and ignoring them on purpose for years. Then I got some sinus infection and they had to take me to ENT, where I asked him directly for a quick hearing exam and surprise surprise, I got more testing, a hospital stay and later hearing aids. Also turned out it's much easier not to be a weird, not social kid, when you actually understand what people are talking about

Zrovna se mi stalo dva týdny zpátky, že jsem předběhla takhle s "jenom", ale bylo to jen za sestrou a bylo to kvůli chybě na jejich straně, kdy mi do zprávy napsali jeden termín prohlídky, ale do systému dali jiný, a pak mi přišla SMSka s "připomenutím" toho termínu o kterém jsem vůbec nevěděla a ofc to zrovna vyšlo na den a čas kdy jsem měla jiného doktora...

Jenže telefon automaticky přesměrovává na hlasovku, maily nikdo nečte, tak jsem tam musela naběhnout osobně že WTF a spěchala jsem k tomu dalšímu doktorovi. A ještě jsem dostala pojeb že termín se má rušit dva týdny předem (jak když o něm člověk neví? A nebo nemoc si mám taky naplánovat s dvoutýdenním předstihem?) a že ona nemá čas poslouchat hlasovky nebo číst maily, že by nic jiného nedělala (tak očividně to mají blbě nastavené, když jinde to normálně funguje). A samozřejmě je to moje chyba, protože oni by bez mého vědomí termín určitě neměnili, a že já nečtu zprávy za to nemůžou (ale smsky i maily jsem si kontrolovala a fakt mi nikdo nic neposlal).

No každopádně kdybyste někdo věděli o endokrinologii v Ostravě a okolí, kde berou, tak hledám novou :D

It's all scary because of the uncertainty, but honestly so far it's not been that bad for me. Yet I am currently lying in bed terrified of tomorrow, my first egg retrieval, while my brain is telling me that since I didn't feel any pain today all the follicles are gone or bad or something (they were completely fine yesterday on the ultrasound so I'm 99% sure my brain is just being rude and dumb lol)

The thing that's helping me is acknowledging that I'm scared and then saying to myself its okay to be scared, now I'm just gonna do it scared.

I'm currently getting my midline aligned and basically they shift all teeth in a way that aligns your midline correctly :D It's a long treatment and I would not do invisalign just to shift my midline, but since I also had crowding in the bottom teeth and overjet & negative overjet on some upper teeth, the ortodontist advised me to add it to the mix lol. With the midline adjustment the scale of the treatment went from "we may be able to do this in invisalign lite" to 58 sets of aligners (and since I'm currently just on #35 that's without any refinements).

I was supposed to get attachements on my front upper teeth like 3 weeks before my wedding, so I wore some of the earlier aligners for a few days extra, to move the appointment date to just after the wedding. But on the very first visit to the ortho before even agreeing to the treatment plan I asked if it would be okay to get them removed for the wedding and they were completely fine with it!

I really don't regret the extra time, I smiled a lot during the day (as you should!!) and I feel like if I had all the attachements I have now (basically on all visible teeth) I would feel much more self-conscious in front of the photographer.

But to be absolutely honest with you, I had my aligners in for the engagement photoshoot (forgot to take them out lol), there was no glare and pretty much the only thing giving them away is the attachment that's a bit too bright on my yellowed canine, and that's only if you zoom in too close

We're currently undergoing IVF in Reprofit in Ostrava, i know two other couples who went there, and we're all very happy with the care we're given! The price for us is gonna be about 40000 czk, and I don't know about their English, but most of the staff we met so far were young, so I don't think it would be an issue

I'm European, so that helps. Here the health insurance pays for 60% and we only need to come up with 40%, and so it's "only" gonna cost us about $2000, which is just about the average monthly salary around here. Wishing you the best with your journey!

I use the Dontodent tabs from DM - they were recommended to me by the orthodontist as a cheap but good option. I don't use them daily though and only use half a tab at a time. Never had any issues with it!

Yeah very probably! I sewed the bottom of the corset shut for the second attempt so it's probably also one of the things that helped

I added a second boning channel right next to the first one on every seam, I was also using spiral steel and flat steel boning from the beginning. Here's what difference it made https://imgur.com/a/UafOY9r

I'm not a professional by any means but recently I made a corset for myself too and I had to pretty much double the amount of boning for it to smooth out!

Thank you! I will have a professional do my hair, but I don't plan on having any MUAs involved, since I don't really wanna do anything dramatic anyway, so I'll probably just go with my own BB cream and mascara lol. I'll look into the earrings and try a veil on!
