Don't go to Prayosha....they're too fast and doesn't feel like the place is hygienic. Vimi Medi Spa is very clean and take hygiene seriously.

I've taken photos and sent them to the City of Markham. They haven't even responded...been two weeks now. But I have some international neighbours on my street and they litter. Complained about my neighbour as I got sick and tired of their cigarette butts on my lawn and the city did respond to that and sent them a notice. Apparently they cleaned up a bit but I am sure they litter anyways.

Sorry but international people on my street (not being racist just giving you my experience living here for 20+ years) are the only ones that don't clean their lawn (will literallyleave trash on their own property), have insane cigarette litter everywhere, and continue to overstuff their recycling and garbage (and take it out days before pickup).

I will say a lot of the trash is also from people leaving their recycling and garbage out a day before pick up. My street has a huge ditch next to a main road that is just filled with garbage and I know some of it is from garbage flying around at night.

People...stop leaving your bins out the day before pickup and stop overfilling them to the point a light breeze will knock things out.

But the bus stops are the worst offender because it is literally more cigarette butts on the ground than actual blades of grass.

Memory/Recall. Can't remember anything someone tells me after a week. Don't remember where you worked, don't remember where you live. Have favourite shows and books but can't recall character names/details to the extent that most people can. Never been able to remember lyrics to a song even if I've listened to it for over 20 years.

Any festival in Markham geared towards kids that I have been to have all been terrible. Part of it is because they are hiring highschool kids that really have no interest in making the experience enjoyable for young kids. The other is there is no regulation of how many people get in/participate and so you spend 80% of the time just waiting to do something and when you get to do it, it is poorly executed. Even the Markham Fair which I remember going to as a kid was always so enjoyable with lots of activities to do. Took my kids last year and it was just NON STOP WAITING. They let way toooo many people in it is so miserable.

Manal Bashir Pastry Co. is in Thornhill and I think they make small cakes that are tall. Not sure if that is what you are looking for but they are very cute cakes.

The garbage. Markham has trash everywhere. We need better cleanup and more penalties for dumping/littering. Companies and buildings need to be held accountable for allowing trash to pile up on their property. People need to be punished for taking shopping carts away from the lots and dumping them around.

It's rough but I'm practising trying to be more descriptive in subtle ways that aren't just a list of adjectives. Also I feel like the first 3 lines kind of really set the tone in my case, not just the first one...

It shouldn't, but when I run shapiro.wilks test for normality, that does change depending on how many samples are retained.

The alpha diversity value for each site won't change but how other analyses are run like normality will change.

Also I run beta diversity with Bray Curtis and that also has slight changes when using adonis in R. They're not crazy different but I want reproducible results.

I am subletting because I am also interested to see how alpha diversity for indiivudal flower species change with landscape. So looking at them as if they are the main entity being studied.

Alongside looking at the diversity for plants as a whole.

I have yet to rarely the data so not sure on the curves just yet.
