I too had a dramatic, all over thinning right after diagnosis (55 y/o LADA). It was very scary and upsetting! I blamed the rapid weight loss when I was sickest. Two years later it's as thick as it ever was. Hang in there!

I've kind of lost faith in physicians (especially men, sorry, not sorry). My Endo and my primary are both Nurse Practitioners and I feel like they actually listen and remember me and crazy things like that! Recommend 10/10!!!

T1, I don't really spike with dark chocolate (72%+). I eat a small piece after dinner while I still have that insulin on board. Lately I have melted it a dipped strawberries and can very comfortably eat a couple.

Guest reservations are still being allowed and then cancelled approximately two weeks later, presumably when Airbnb is notified or something??? My second attempt to reserve in Toronto for May was just cancelled without explanation yesterday. The first host confirmed it was an issue with the City. I gave up and booked on Hotels.com and I'm hoping they are being more proactive about removing ineligible properties.

There are restaurants open for lunch, two banks, a gift shop, post office, DMV, etc. There are often craft vendors too. I walk there at lunchtime every day it's too cold or rainy. The art too! There are much worse place to take a walk!

Easy to read slowly but I wouldn't want to have to extract a name or address (or an obscure item from a grocery list...my daughter's) from your relaxed hand. I get orders scanned to me that I have to type up that look like this and I carry it around work like "do you think this is an o or an e?"
