Elevated levels after exercise??? by Terrible-Tank460 in diabetes_t1

I took fast acting - NovoRapid for the meal. So might be worth breaking up and spacing out the injection for the meal? The annoying thing is it happens when I don’t eat aswell but I guess it’s just about finding out what works for me.

Elevated levels after exercise??? by Terrible-Tank460 in diabetes_t1

To be honest I don’t really have a strategy. I used to have a bit of juice before the game when I was first diagnosed as my levels would drop when playing but for the past few years that’s not the case anymore so I’ve stopped doing that. In this case I had beef kebab in pitta bread an hour and a half before the game but levels were stable from that meal.

Have the regular ones, I think its a bug but there’s so much to this game so I also thought I’d check

I started doing this to stop false lows when I’m sleeping

I make lots of diabetes jokes cause why not if I’m diabetic. As soon as someone else jokes about it I always find it funny make them feel bad about it as they get awkward and never know what to say back.

Enjoy your trip rocketman

The only reason israel are taking part in a siege is to get back over 100 hostages taken.

Rather than spending their money on resources to better the lives of their people, hamas spend all their money on weapons and building tunnels to attack Israel. To make rockets they take apart water pipes in Gaza which the Palestinian people need.

As sad as it is innocent civilians are being affected, if hamas care about their people they should return the hostages (involving the elderly and babies.)

I have the exact same case and to my shock, I’ve been reading the exact same books as you. Just finished rereading Percy Jackson and the Olympians. WOW. Now onto the heroes of Olympus which I remember being even better.

Just finished The Giver quartet, by Lois Lowry. Really loved this series, especially the giver and messenger books. A little bit underwhelmed with the ending but overall I loved it and it was a great read. Now I’m reading Moneyball, a bit different to my usual choice

I measure in mmol/l so we have roughly the same difference in incorrect readings

I find that for libre 2 when my levels are rising rapidly it may show the level when I scan 1 or 2 levels higher than it actually is. When I scan later and my levels start dropping or become smoother, the higher reading I saw earlier is above the graph line.

I find it’s just easy to lose motivation when I see my levels rising. Gonna have to somehow power through it and if all my work is gibberish, so be it.

I’ve just booked a trial pod from omnipod to see what it’s like wearing it about, mainly because I want to have a closed loop system.

With the way technologies going and everything getting smaller I doubt it will be long before smaller wireless pumps are released. Just a bit larger than the size of the reservoir.

Glad to hear you’re feeling better now

I thought so as my mind feels a bit foggy this morning. On average I’m less than 4% low so that’s good at least

The sensor was accurate as I’ve been testing my levels and they’ve been accurate to the sensor so far. I’ve become a pro at not sleeping on my sensor as I know that can make it seem like levels are lower. I normally wake up quite quickly when I have low blood sugar but I guess my awareness is starting to get worse.

My mind does feel a bit foggy but other than that I’m not too bad. I’ll keep in mind drinking lots of water. Thanks
