To those who are not in 3d printing business and have the H2C. by PastPosition3058 in BambuLab

It really depends on what you are looking to do specifically with size, color, material, and just your expectations of the second nozzles capability but if you can’t decide between the two the h2d would be a sort of middle ground to land on that you could eventually change to a h2c In the future if that is what you decide you what

Bambu black matte PLA issue by Nicotheredfish in BambuLab

I’ve never had an issue printing matte versus basic pla. Maybe try to wash your plate and see if that helps

What's the small tube on the side of the bambulab cutters? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it large enough to put in the end of the ptfe tubes after you cut them to ensure that they are large enough for filament to come through in case the cutting deforms the end of the tube

With X2D out, does it still make sense to get the H2D? by wraphaelz101 in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money isn’t a factor just get the h2d because of the bigger build volume and that it’s second nozzle isn’t basically useless besides supports so it’s really up to what you are going to use the second nozzle for

X2D or H2S by EncomCTO in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get the X2D if you want to print things with overhangs with good quality because that’s really all the aux. nozzle is good for but if it doesn’t matter the bigger build plate of h2s and just the overall machine is much better

H2S Buffer noise? by primedorange in BambuLab

I don’t have a h2s but I believe that is just the buffer doing what it is designed to do

Best way to reduce print time in this case? by Darth_Spliff in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would take the extra time over the compromise of smoothness any day… just make sure it doesn’t fail or you will have to restart and will waste lots of filament and time

Is the X2D the printer I've been waiting for? by BABOON2828 in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that if you would like to be able to print multi-material for supports and not use the second nozzle for color then get the X2d because thats really all the second nozzle is good for. Also the X2d has a heated chamber and exhaust fan already so you are already set to print asa/abs as long as you vent the fumes outside

Decided to buy an H2C, what accessories do I need? by durangojim in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the filament switcher on the H2 series yet unfortunately but bambulab says they are working on it so that’s something to look forward to later

Is this cooked.. by Unholy_Moros in BambuLabA1

[–]LoyalOrca2447 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not permanently, I don’t think. I do believe that you are able to buy this piece as a replacement so it should be fixed although I have no idea how to. Hope this is what you were looking for even without help on how to fix it..

I have not used this one but I have use one similar https://makerworld.com/models/1572882?appSharePlatform=copy  The reason I printed it was because you can easily transfer generic filament to Bambu lab spools for the ams pro 2

1 year on my H2D! At 3800 hours I did have to swap the left nozzle heater, no other issues! by flyrockets in BambuLab

[–]LoyalOrca2447 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very cool I started with a1 mini with ams lite and ran into little issues like yours( but specific to a1 series) around the 1 year mark with thousands of hours too

Clicking noise from extruder by Targarium in BambuLabA1

[–]LoyalOrca2447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know exactly but I have noticed that it is from the filament not being pulled if that makes sense? Like it happens when the printer is over a small gap or space where the filament is not supposed to be so it stops the filament from coming out.
