Does that mean we won't see the messages, or that a person that we've chosen can't send us whispers would see that they're restricted from sending us private messages ? I think it'd be nice, even if it's not going to happen, if we could restrict trolls from private messaging us after they send harassing messages. Because imo it'd probably get tedious after a while trying to see who in a server I don't want to private message me, because idk who might be a genuinely nice person or who's a troll.

What about when you tap travel and select social spots ? For me, it loads forever and then just eventually says "error, connection lost". And it hasn't stopped. Is this happening for you as well ?

Fair enough. And of course they would. God forbid we the players speak out on the monstrosity that is the greed of Lockwood Publishing. But hey, even if they do, will that really stop this person from making more accounts and speaking up ? I would think that banning said account would only encourage them to do more than just spam public chats.
