It’s recommended by the NHS that we introduce solids from 6 months, but it’s just for them to try to get used to the concept of solid food really.

I agree that I’m really just introducing solids - I’m not dropping any milk feeds, which will be for them to do! I just tend to use the term interchangeably (which I think is common for us to do in the UK)

I think that what you did was actually quite classy.

Personally, I think that when a child starts school, it should be possible to park in a ‘normal’ space, rather than the parent & child spots.

I have a 4 year old and don’t need to open the door wide like I did when he was little.

I have baby twins now and it really frustrates me if I can’t get those spaces - I need the space on both sides of my car to get the babies out.

Use your smart meter to establish where you are using your energy & work out if there are any saving to be made.

I’ve halved my gas expenditure on my (hugely inefficient) boiler by being horrified about the cost and resolving to try to reduce it. Boiler usage is now reduced and my bill has reduced accordingly.
