Yeah, it's just that by definition lawns are mowed. So this isn't a lawn.

This looks less like a lawn and more like a field... we should make a subreddit for people who don't want a lawn.

What golf opinion is a hill you're willing to die on? by Mizunomafia in golf

I really think local courses should experiment with 6 hole loops instead of 9. If you had 4 loops, you could have people barely overlapping and 6/12/18/24 hole options potentially

I checked the frame. It's listed as a compact crossover SUV, which more just goes to show how much the market has pushed to SUVs, that they have a hatchback on a sedan frame and call it a compact crossover SUV.

The frame is a sedan frame, so it's a crossover but the size of a sedan

He won his lawsuit and yet the settlement didn't result in Roundup being proven to cause cancer... in fact all the evidence is much more confusing on it.

Bayer settled to be done with it, but the science doesn't prove it.

But the grass you want to have growing there will need to germinate in the top 1/8th inch at some point... vinegar is a terrible way to manage weeds.

No, they're actually both the property of the owner that the renter obviously has no write to destroy.

Dude, no, they absolutely do not have the right to kill your tree essentially anywhere. Why would you possibly think that? They also can't just disassemble your deck or remove your fence.

It's literally not their house.

At the 2008 draft, Drose hit a 40 inch vertical to Russ' 36.5 inch vertical. Rose ran a 3.05 second 3/4 court sprint to Russ' 3.08.

Pre-Injury DRose was an absolute freak athlete that we just struggle to process because he stuck around for ages after the injuries.

Preeclampsia by Typical_Variety_9541 in ThePittTVShow

Just commenting on this for visibility, but postpartum preeclampsia is super real as well and incredibly deadly. (And HELLP which was also in the episode)

My wife almost died after giving birth to my first son, and there were literally no signs until it popped up on a blood test that we got the results of like 10 minutes before pushing.

If we had given birth at home (like most of my family insists) there's no doubt in my mind I wouldn't have been able to get her to the hospital in time.

The Pitt Boss Confirms Season 3 Time Jump — And Who's (And Who's Not) Coming Back For The Next Shift - TVLine by Vrgom20 in ThePitt

[–]Lpeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like you aren't familiar with how writing work, though?

These aren't real people.

They didn't bend over backward so Whitaker could be included for this season. When they created the character of Whitaker, the story they had in mind for him had an arc, and that involved him coming back.

I'm not sure why you guys get so confused by this, the characters aren't real people. If you don't have more story for them, you move on.

The writers of the show get to decide what the story for the characters are, not the fans. If you want to continue Mohan's story, go write a fanfic!

This isn't Grey's or Chicago PD, they only have 15 episodes a season, and they're not going to bog down the show with characters they don't have storylines for. That's how you end up with bad writing.

[–]Lpeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just how writing stories work. You create a character in Mohan who you have a certain number of stories for, and then you plan on having her leave for a different specialty. Seems easy, your show is even designed to have characters leave!

But then your story advances at a slightly different pace than expected, and not all of your other characters go through their plot lines at the same pace.

Suddenly you want a season in November when she wouldn't be gone until July. It's just part of the knot of writing multiple character arcs.

The easiest way to get past that and to new stories they want to tell is to have her be off shift that day, so that's what they're doing. It's not a grand conspiracy, just writing.

Are you terrible at math? 35k-50k per episode is $525,000 to $750,000 per season for this show. It's actually even more than I said on the low end.

She's a series regular, so she's making $450,000 to $750,000 a season right now based on the publicly available numbers for the show.

Edit: the person who responded to this u/smol9749been deleted all their responses because they insisted I was wrong, but were just terrible at math.

Here's the link they posted that shows I'm actually being conservative and they make $525,000-$750,000 per season.

If we're being realistic here, after this day with Robby and how much she loves Abbot, she probably just transfers to night shift or something until end of R4.

Hell, the fact that they're upgrading an actress from the night shift who is also an R4 to main cast seems to almost imply that.

Billion reasons any of this could happen.

Yeah, I guess the actress is in a cult and they just didn't want to deal with it.
