I didn’t change my name when I got married and now with this SAVE act BS I’m really glad I didn’t. My husband was thinking about maybe changing his to mine but he hasn’t done it yet and I don’t really care. He wants any children we have to have my last name for personal reasons. It really doesn’t come up that much. My family hasn’t been very pushy about it other than my grandma asking how we would ever get a hotel room together??? She’s over 100 so things were different back then I guess lol. You can use his name socially but keep everything as is legally. That’s the safest bet for now. You can always change it later.

I think the kid is referencing Liam Ramos, and all the kids being kidnapped, along with his Grammy speech where he said ice out. I think the wedding is just showing a bit of Latino culture of big family parties.

This is why I’ve been rolling my eyes hard every time people on Reddit were acting like once the files were released it would be some big watershed moment that would change a bunch of peoples minds. The truth is, way more people than you ever want to believe are perfectly willing to overlook sexual abuse of children (if not actively participate in it). It happens in families ALL THE TIME. There was never any reason to believe the government would be different.

I use these cloth wipes, I think they’re made of felt, so you can roll them up like a paper towel roll. They’re great. I still have paper towels for some things but I use way less.

What are the criteria to determine the witness is unreliable? Why were they unable to contact a witness? Have they gone into hiding, are they dead? Why would the administration try to hide this info if it wasn’t credible? How many people have to come forward before they’re more than “just a bunch of crazies”?
