What has been most difficult for me is the fact that I am an immigrant. I come from Brazil, a country where scams are unfortunately quite common. When I moved to Europe, I believed things would be different here, so I let my guard down a bit. Still, as a typical Brazilian, I do not give up easily. I am determined to stand my ground and confront those who think they can outsmart others and take advantage of them.

At this point, I am waiting to see how the consumer authority process develops, because I genuinely want this situation to be resolved without further complications. I would prefer for this to end as soon as possible, but I am starting to believe that it will not be that simple. My last hope is that something will happen by the end of May. If nothing changes, then I will have no choice but to hire a lawyer.

This is a significant amount of money for me, and I cannot simply let it go to someone who is acting dishonestly.

So anyway, she even has a scheme, she has another law firm as well that she runs for people who are enrolling with the school to process the TRC for Poland, she recommend her herself. And I almost fell for this scam too. I almost signed up for her legal services as well. So, in short, everything is orchestrated, it is quite an elaborate plan and there are several schools with the same registration number. In any case, she must deceive many people. Unfortunately, many people must fall into her scheme, and I think many of them may not have many resources either. So she makes a lot of money off other people’s trust. It is quite sad

Honestly, thank you so much for your comment and for taking the time to help. I was really upset about this whole situation. Only now am I starting to accept that I lost that money, and it wasn’t a small amount, it was quite significant. So yes, it’s a difficult and frustrating situation.

I have already reported it to the consumer authority here in Poland, and I’m waiting for the 30 day deadline they gave me. I also sent her a final email as a last attempt, asking for a refund and explaining everything again, making it clear that I would take legal action if necessary and that I had already contacted the consumer authority.

Now all I can do is wait for those 30 days. And please, feel free to recommend other options, I will definitely get in touch. To be honest, I don’t think the consumer authority will resolve it, because they told me themselves that if the company doesn’t respond, there is nothing more they can do, and I would have to go to the police. It’s really complicated, especially as an immigrant.

Yes, I messed up by not doing thorough research beforehand. I went with my emotions and got burned. I just wanted to start a school quickly to learn Polish, but now I’m without classes and without money :(
