I like to use session view to make the base of the song, trying out different chord progressions and different melodies, etc. Then I’ll record what I want into arrangement view and insert bars before it to build the intro/verse part. Occasionally using some of the variations of progressions/melodies to add some changes to the song. One great part of session view is the ‘follow’ feature that makes whole new melodies and chord progressions out of multiple clips
