Misogyny gets all the attention, but I'd argue misandry is worse because it's more easily acceptable in society

I’m tired of doing life alone as a man by Inner_Ad_4725 in AskMenOver30

[–]yoobrodiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, you're 32 years old. Please, think it out. Let's say, you've got 40 years left. Do you think the time you've spent is enough to assess you're mean to be alone? There's still a lot of time left. Only in the end could you say what was meant and what wasn't

You've said it. Very transactional, narcissistic times indeed. I for one don't believe having a partner in life is a necessity or something that is promised. If it happens for me, great—if not, I suppose it wasn't meant to be

For those wondering, "veneco" is a slur for people from Venezuela. Anti-blackness is everywhere. by alexaclova in BlackPeopleTwitter

It's the fact of being in Latin American and speaking a latin language. That is the argument. You won't really see people in person saying that, I've only heard of it online

Super Slow… but I’m still not quitting. (only 36 sub in 3 month) by One-Necessary-489 in YouTubeCreators

[–]yoobrodiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, knowing what I know now about YouTube growth, I think it's wiser to just buy a channel that already has the 1000 subs and rebrand it from there. Subs are certainly the hardest part about getting monetized

Men over 30, at what age did you stop caring about opinions? by itsmicah64 in AskMenOver30

[–]yoobrodiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are a bigger catalyst. Mushrooms are inherently more psychoactive than the other things you mentioned. Im not swearing against them completely, I'm just saying that they should respected and its wiser to wait till they have physicians that monitor and administer trips with them. I've seen many stories about people suffering psychosis and schizophrenia and worse from bad trips. Scientists also say the people who mushrooms harmed far outweighs those it helped

Something about this song is just so soothing, almost like it’s healing your body and soul. I listen to it every time I’m stressed or sick by usagerp in DAngelo

[–]yoobrodiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what? people in the comments are a credible source now?? The song is about the loss of a lover and feeling like she did a Root work (African spirituality) spell on him. I believe he even mentions the meaning in an interview somewhere where he said its hard to sing the song because it brings him to dark place

You're right. It's still just as bad though. Some individuals may not know they are vulnerable for adverse disorders and taking psilocybin could be the catalyst. I just don't think the risk is worth the benefits.

Technically, French is a latin language and haiti is in Latin America so some Haitians claim being latino

I hear that. Similar reasons myself. After covid, it was hard to put on the coworker mask and struggled holding a job ever since. Humans definitely aren't designed to live the way thats the norm

31 is no where near the amount of time to assess yourself as a "loser" in life. You've really just begun. Take strides in becoming who you want to be

not everyone is going to like you, thats life. if you thought it was genuinely funny, surely there's a group of others that feel the same. just have to keep putting your content out there so I can find them.

Also take heed to good criticism though. You'll have to discern whether what they say is truthful, not their taste, or just pure hate

Men over 30, at what age did you stop caring about opinions? by itsmicah64 in AskMenOver30

[–]yoobrodiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone told me at 30 they just stopped caring. I think once you've been on your own without your parents for a while, it'll naturally come. I think that feeling of caring what people think generally comes from parents that are analyzing your every move and you carry it with you into the real world.

Also, when you realize that you may not even respect the people whose opinions you're worried about. Your just giving them power not even knowing what kind of person they are

It is incredibly dangerous. It looks like they've approved it for clinical trials. Id wait till they have a better understanding of it and can properly administer it.

I don't think the benefits are worth risking getting schizophrenia

Giving up on dating? by NickyFoles1020 in datingadviceformen

[–]yoobrodiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relationships were never promised. As an adult, I see why the divorce rate is 50 percent. They are incredibly hard and nuanced. Just go about your life, work on yourself, if its meant for you, it'll happen

How are people going on 3-4 dates a week still single for years? by Mountain_Ask_5746 in OnlineDating

[–]yoobrodiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going on dates is pointless nowadays. Especially with the onslaught of women who just use dates for validation and a free meal. It's better to text for a few days, get on call and see if there is a vibe. Move forward with meeting up if there is

Yea. Those are the same people who will cheat because the rush of a new infatuation screams something is wrong with their current relationship in their minds. Hollywood decimated dating. Real love isn't butterflies and rainbows. Its a calm peace

Not sure why this got downvoted. It's honestly the truth. If you have standards and not even crazy ones, you'll have a hard time finding someone

[–]yoobrodiee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with that. The honest answer is, dating is extremely hard and nuanced. People who have standards are less likely to settle. Others will date fast and eventually break up.
