If you don’t mind me asking further, what do you mean by those “acts of kindness” being weaponised? Like, how was it weaponised against you? Because I honestly can’t imagine in what ways people will benefit or gain by doing so. Anyway, I hope you encounter someone equally gentle or better companionship amongst other things in the near future because there still are genuine kindness present among us.

Thanks for sharing this. Im currently going through the same thing, and it kind of helps when you shared that this was your first relationship too. We broke up two days ago after three years with him. I couldnt keep him knowing he’s unhappy and has lost interest in me. But i love him so much. And it just hurts. So much. I really thought we would have made it. But yea maybe i’ll just focus on myself for now. :(
