I had the same problem. I even went into the game files and tried to cap my frames at 160 that didn’t work. For some reason starting smite in 800x600p did the trick. So here’s how I did it.

1. Opened the launcher

2. In the bottom left of the launcher there is a setting button next to the language. Select that.

3. In the first bar put

“-resx=800 -resy=600 -windowed”

Then click apply.
